Hey Jay! Thanks for the video. Always great stuff! I was just at the Mecca in August 2021 but didn't go in. It was a bucket list for me but my wife and daughter in law didn't feel safe around the perimeter. We were visiting our son in San Diego who is in the Marine Corp stationed at Miramar. He is about to deploy again in October. Don't know if you remember but I met you back in the late 90s in Wilson NC. at the National nutrition store with Wil Lamb, the owner. It was a pleasure meeting you and it's been great watching your career. You were so down to earth and remain true. Would love to see you and chat again one day. I'll never forget how devoted you were back then when I met you. We were talking and you looked at your watch and paused the conversation to get your protien drink mixed and then we resumed our conversation. Made an impression on me and others how you paid attention to detail 💯. I don't know if you read these comments but I would really love to meet you again sometime. Maybe next year when we are back in California. We presently live in Myrtle Beach. Thanks for all you do!

.. The 'mecca' is dead .. To go there anymore is like visiting a cemetery .. A member at my gym went to Gold's Venice to train .. They would not let him pay a day pass to workout there .. They said they are not accepting new members .. Anymore it's just a haven surrounded by homeless, derelicts and drug addicts

Damn Silvio reminds me of Sergio Oliva senior when he was in a good mood!!! Back in the day. In 84 tru the 90s Senior was in the gyms all the time and when he retired from the police force (the second time! Ha! Thats another story altogether) he opened his own gym and had his good days and days he layed on the couch in his office for 12 hours at a time!!! Nowadays they'd call it depression. Sergio called it, "get the fuck out of my office!" Lol
