Thank You for showing the lantern post tool, am glad I stuck it out to the end. It isn't easy to find info on this portion of that particular set-up. Am planning to get a quick change, like most I'm sure, but until then am making it work! Great vid, and will be checking out more of this series. Haven't run a lathe since High School, but it was my favorite tool.

I use a scriber on a stand and set the height from the a dead centre in the Chuck and then swing it around to the cutting tool and set height accordingly.

thank you for your help i learned alot since i never was trained in using a lathe, hopefully you will show making threads n how to grind the tool bit thanks again
