Give your plant a chance. I have succulents in pots outside year round in Chicago and they come back every spring. I never touch them. Maybe some water in the dry summer months but that's it.

In fact I followed your travels though the Scotland and in the land of the enemy south of the Scots Border, and also your travels in my adopted homeland pf Melbourne Australia. I remember you being at the Victoria Market, and the Hosier Lane in Melbourne Between Spring Street and Flinders Street, which had graffiti on the walls. I also remember your visit to Pie Face. If you want to remove raido from the dash, you could try a teacher trick. Take an Expo marker and write directly on top of the word. Then, while it is still wet, rub off the Expo marker. I have seen it remove new and old Sharpie markers from table tops and smooth surfaces. I have not tried to remove something as old as raido, so it might not work.

Oh no no no …. I loved my 1988 Samurai!!! Bought it brand new for $6995. It will do 85 on the highway. Engine was weak though. Top end starts to go at around 80-90k miles. I swapped my motor for a junk yard motor at 90k and put another 50k on it. Absolutely loved that little jeep. Enjoy!

How about naming the Suzuki, Samurai Jack, after the warrior hero of the cult following animation series. You may wish to rethink the liner for the grill. As nice a cedar is, using wood to line a potential fire hazard, might not be a great idea. Instead, lining with plywood with a sheet metal veneer could be a cool (pun intended) solution.
