@mrsfriedmike educators are amazing people. The really great ones are so underappreciated. It takes a special soul to teach young minds. Way back in the early 2000's, I wished I had a way to reach my previous teachers. Sad thing is, the ones who were in their 50's or 60's then are quite likely passed. There is a special place in my heart for all teachers. So, even though I don't personally know you nor did I learn from you, I want to thank you for educating young minds for 30 beautiful years. 💐❤️❤️

Yes to teacher gifts! I get told I’m “extra” all the time for doing them, but it is legit the LEAST we can do. And it could be as simple as a snack or treat to enjoy. Beginning of the year, holidays, birthdays and teacher appreciation week/end of the year are all great times to say “Thank you!” Teachers wear so many hats for our kids, and they are under so much more stress now than ever before. So, yes, bless the teachers!

Thank you for acknowledging the hard work teachers do. I'm a preschool teacher and it's hard work and yes we love gifts. I almost cried when I got some gifts I felt even more appreciated even though my students hug me every morning and some tell me they love me or I'm their best teacher. And it's another teacher in my classroom but we both appreciate gifts

In Jr/ High School, we had 2 lockers when I was in school. My gym locker had a bunch of extra care package stuff that if one of the other girls needed a pad or something when we were in sports or just gym class, they knew to ask me. Usually, body spray and pads I shared.

You are a riot! I have one child still in school. Her nearest sibling graduated high school in 2021. She is starting grade 8 (!) this year! I put a pile of leftover (brand-new) extra school supplies out for her to check up against her list. Then forward to her dad and I , her list of what is still needed to begin her 8th year. It is not as much fun, as it was when there were 3 kids going back to school together.

I too had a care pouch for my daughter, it was a little hello kitty one, that was 7 years ago now and she still has it. In the Uk you go to university at 18 yrs old, she will start in September and she will be taking her pouch with her lol. I asked if I can get her a new one, she said no way 😂 am taking mum with me 🥺😊. Your a good mum Kim and you brighten our day too. Loads of love from the Uk x

Firstly, I’ve been watching your content for years and while I have almost always chuckled during every video, I was almost crying for this one. If you putting up that clear week calendar wasn’t thee most accurate depiction of how I feel my life is going right now, I don’t know what is! Then to top it all off you throw in some Bring It On?! That is a good idea cubby hanger. I have one that use be for shoes but it is too small 😄. Yes wash tupperwear if says you can. Just never knifes unless you want them dull.

in your pantry, put one of those wall hangers that are made for shoes(kinda like the clothes one you put in Meredith's room. They have like 12 separate slots, water bottles should fit fine. Just an idea.

Kids should always look forward to school starting:) That was the time of yr when my parents would do the bulk of our clothes shopping for the fall/winter. I did the same as a Mom bc I wanted to pass on those same memories. It's a nice, fresh start, & being organized sure does make it easier to adjust

I dont know if this will work for you or anyone besides our house. We got the over the door pantry spice rack. its 5 or six shelves. We put it on a door thats not used much and placed all of out water bottles, thermos supplies there. I did use the stickers from the command hooks to help hold the bars down since there isnt much weight but it works for storage and the littles can reach what they want and or need to .

We have been back in school for nearly a month here, and all three of my girls and I are already ready for a break. For those flat skinny organizers get over the door hooks since they are out of a closet. Then when they are finished you can hang the cube ones up

Hi Kim, You're doing great but FYI the flat closet organizer hanger goes over the closet door, not on the closet curtain rod. So one for hanging on the closet door and one for the closet hanger rod. Thats why you will see the metal hooks on the flat one are kinda square and not round like a hanger hook. That's how you get to use both. :) I just love you you totally crack me up.

I also give them first day gifts to the teachers and Aides. Teachers and Aides spend so much time with our children. Every time that I have volunteer at my children’s school I see a lot of the work that Aides do and I have to say they also deserve the same credit as teachers.

The one with the hooks allows you to hang over doors and shut the door. So the ones without a closet you can hang over the door

One suggestion I have learned from years of doing it, about the cash....give them ones and maybe a five instead of the 10. Most of the time what they want is a dollar or 2 and it's much easier and faster than trying to get change. Also, some vending machines get to where they will only take cash if you have the exact amount. But great idea and they will be very happy at some point to have all of this!

Oh that acrylic calendar! I have been debating on that vs the magnetic one for the fridge. And you’ve help make the decision. Fridge magnet for me! Also how thoughtful for making the little pouch for A’s locker. Those items are so helpful, not just for her, but her friends too. Good job!!
