This tiny but sassy pekapeka/long-tailed bat was given a second chance at life when it was rescued after a cat attack. Thanks to the mahi of the Hamilton Zoo veterinary team, Ngāti Hauā Iwi Trust, and our bat specialists, she was successfully rehabilitated and released back home into the wild.
