Part of having a successful channel is getting people to care about you. You are and I do. I can't tell whether or not you are wearing ear protection. If not please do. Take it from a 72 year old who's ears have been ringing longer than 50 years you'll thank me for the advice.

Katie,,, your hair is beautiful!! As a woman, just turned 74, my wish for all the younger women is that they appreciate their youthful beauty. Self-criticism is sadly very common. You portray self love and confidence. Congratulations to both of you for building a homestead, a life and a relationship with such imagination and grace.

well one thing I know is most females in the USA are conditioned from childhood that you have to look like this and be this shape all this stuff, and the reason I know this is because I dated a young lady who was not from the USA and she was shocked about the stuff that the females who grew up here have to go threw and why they have some many issues with it because you grew up with thought you have to look like this, sound like this, and ware these kind of clothes and all of it is too much and I thank wife each day because she no long has to deal with the shame that she was thinking she was not good enough for a guy to be like in world so think about guys and see what your wife or girl has gone threw all her life and see her side

Yep, never fails to catch a cold/flu from a flight during winter. Everything is looking great! Don’t let the critics get to you. We got that from everyone we know when I built our home that took 3 years. “You aren’t done yet?” “When are going to be done?” “What’s taking so long?” People will never understand the satisfaction and sense of accomplishment from a project like this unless they’ve done it too. Keep up the good work!

Greg and Katie it's good see you today but I'm sorry you are battling the colds. Let me start with saying that you got some spectacular drone footage while in Mexico - it is absolutely beautiful and commercial quality, well done! Additing the lighting in the barn was a good idea and the animals will quickly adjust to it. Greg, your reflection and comments on your feelings about what you and Katie have accomplished and the effort that has been required was heartfelt and sincere. I echo your comments and feelings - it has been a gift for me to follow you both as you've built the homestead and accomplished so very much. I recently went back and reviewed many of the older vlogs and refreshing my memory and being amazed by all you've done and accomplished. Watching Katie grow, flourish, and aquire so many skills over the time has been an absolute joy to watch and enjoy. You two have so much to be proud of and your strength as a couple and a team is gratifying. I hope you both get over you colds qickly and begin feeling better soon. Wishing you both a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.

Sorry your sick after returning home from Mexico. That happens sometimes when you fly. Lights in the mini barn it's pretty bougie.😁 The tree turned out cute, I liked your ornaments. Very pretty. In regards to the building of your home, I don't believe there is a time crunch. It gets done when you can spare the time and you should be proud of the accomplishments you've created on the homestead. When you start listing all the things you're doing the list is pretty long. So more power to both of you. And when you are sick go to bed when you sleep your body repairs it self. Peace Love Happiness 💕

Greg, My wife and I are building our own homestead as well. We've gone the Bardominium route for us. You are a 100% correct about being proud (in a good way) about your accomplishments and the things you've done on your homestead. We feel the same way and are building as debt free as well. I just turned 60 with 2 bad shoulders, so people think I'm crazy to build this with just she and I, BUT I take a lot of knowledge and positive vibes from your channel. IF you want it bad enough, then you will sacrifice as needed to reach your goals. Cheers and keep rockin!!

Glad to see you somewhat rejuvenated from your holiday, despite the head cold. Really enjoyed Greg's comments about you two building your world there especially debt free. Your debt free world....what a most wonderful existence that so many others should enjoy but are strapped down with worldly ideas. Your example pointing the way through this media is powerful. I'm not so far geographically from you and also live debt free off grid off road and "pinch me" ...I'm loving my little world that I continue to nurture in the mountains. I'm 5 years into my "build" and I still don't have all my siding completed...oh well. but the foundation, roof, solar, water and heat are secure and my roadway access to the outside world is adequate. Keep doing what you are doing.
