This video is just perfect in every way. It is entertaining and it answers all the questions that I had about the French River. Well done and thank you for producing this video.

Great video! Best one I've seen about the area. I worked there as a river guide at the Tinnerman Canoe Base (Boy Scouts of America, Greater Cleveland Council's High Adventure Base) in the summers of '96 and '97; best time of my life. I remember all the places you've shown with great fondness. Crossing the Georgian Bay to the Bustards in a thunderstorm was one of the more memorable experiences I've had. Thanks for sharing this gem!

I enjoyed your video very much as I have done countless week long trips on the French, Pickeral, Key and Wanapitei Rivers with my children and their friends when they were in high school. My trips usually consisted of loops often including some of the Georgian Bay islands.

check Mountain Equipment Co-op for maps. They have proper maps for almost all the popular camping regions in the province.

Too bad the corrupt gov doesnt allow we Yanks to visit so easily anymore. My family vacationed there and near Britt every Summer and for 5 weeks! Yearly from 1947 to 2007..... Everything has changed in this world AND NOT for the better. Sure do miss the rocks, fishing in the Georgian Bay, BASS fillets best eatin on this planet!!! ....the beauty, the wonderful people like family.... God's Country.
