Backgammon: The Trap Play (Lesson 78)

I watched this vid with a friend and he argued that a d6 by green puts a sure win at risk and that you still have some gammon chances by keeping the prime. I explained that D6 is only a 1/36 chance, so the trap play is worth the risk to increase gammon chances

A note on how XG evaluates these positions: If xg prefers the immidiate trap, it presumes that the non-trap plays will be followed by a trap play in the next roll or two. However a human not playing the trap straight away, might disregard it in the future aswell.
