As an American my mother introduced me to the Royal Family as a little girl and I remember getting up and watching Charles and Diana marry and other weddings funerals and celebrations. I was able to visit Windsor Castle a month or so before the fire. It was amazing and to go through Westminister Abbey 2x. What troubles me so much is the legacy that Harry is leaving for his precious little children. Wish I could remember sources/research, need someone to confirm facts/dates. In 10 years, hawwy spent under 300 days as 'active' military, he just wanted to play soldier for glory, his 2 'tours' in Afghanistan were something like 5 and 7 weeks, he was never on the 'front line' and had special protection while in camp playing video games (hence the nickname 'bunker harry' - maybe that is where his 25 kills came from), he was ultimately pulled because being there was a danger to the others, photo ops were done eg to have him running to the helo, sitting in it, shooting a gun but he never went into a firefight, he was never a pilot as couldn't pass the required exams so was a gunner at best, and if he went on a flight all danger was cleared away on route, he was 'helped' through school and into Sandhurst, and believe he quit because didn't have the brains to rank up. Even Invictus was an idea adapted from the American Warrior Games, organized by the Palace, and given to hawwy for something constructive to do, and he's thrown that away, good that his military appointments were stripped as he has disrespected veterans. No doubt there are other aspects of his 'illustrious' (ha ha) military career that I've missed. He's a dishonorable disgrace! My ordinary son is readying for deployment and is more of a hero that horrid hawwy can ever be! God remember Elizabeth II and bless Charles III, and our Monarchy!

My understanding is that Harry was actually a liability in the army, because any unit he was attached to was more likely be targeted by the enemy. He had to be kept “safe” at all times, because if he’d been killed or captured the political ramifications would have been frightful. the stupid thing is that Harry NEVER got his Apache pilot's license....he failed 3 times. And you have to have a pilot's license to sit in the cockpit.....that's where the lasers and missiles are. He couldn't possibly have shot off lasers and missiles. (He DID get a license to fly a Lynx trainer chopper in 2013.....a year after he left Afghanistan.)
