When a loco engine is idling for sometime, it causes carbon to buildup in the exhaust system and when the train starts moving after a period of idling, this built-up carbon in the exhaust system causes the sparks, that is why you were seeing the sparks after the stop at Taraz. Normally locos have a spark quenching mechanism to avoid this, but sometimes it can malfunction and you end up with a spark shower show. Hope this helps! 30:52 1. its normal, wear particles of wheel, wheel flange and rails, sometimes of old block type brakes. In India its not that visible due to external light pollution and lighting effect of our coaches, but one can observe it when our trains pass through tunnels, but observation point is from the door (dangerous because depth perception is lost in dark zone). But issue is, in indian trains door zone have continuous lighting during night , hence its more observable during day time , more on outer and less on inner curve inside a long tunnel when train is moving fast enough. (p.s. I used "hence" instead of "so' , I avoid word "so" because i see lot of "so" called tamil speakers using English "so" to connect in between tamil sentences 😂). Example : in tunnels between lonavala and Mumbai - Bhor ghat tunnel etc., 2.Some times if its above your window and you are near the diesel engine you can see hot exhaust soot during acceleration. 3.If one is lucky/ blessed it may be a fire fly season, but it will be little blinky and of lesser intensity. (Sure this aint firefly)
