I like when she said "your environment is adjusting you"

Great video. I was a marathon runner before my hike but spent the entire year before my hike hiking in a nearby park. I was 62 when I did my hike. The hike was tough. I did not have many issues with injury or severe exhaustion but encountered several near hike ending issues. I got poison ivy, cellulitis, MRSA and anemia. I ended up in the ER 3 times and was admitted to the hospital for 3 days for the cellulitis. I did complete the hike. I returned to running after my hike but no longer do full marathons. I do an hour of PT every day. I do not think I could put on a pack again but your video makes me think maybe I can. I just turned 80. Thanks for your encouraging words.

Enjoyed this video. I felt like I was visiting with friends (great job interviewing, Tara) yes, age is just a number. 😉Omi’s statement “You can’t adjust your environment, your environment is adjusting you” is a perfect summation of the AT. These girls are doing us ‘mature women’ proud! ❤🥾😉

Wow Tara what a great interview with the two gals. Great advice for sure and I agree with everything they said, as someone who will be older when I attempt my thru hike.. I do my hikes with a full pack even for day hikes for preparation. Deep down though I know just have to do it and nothing really can prepare you for a 6 month hike, Lol. Great content. Thanks and happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️

I really enjoyed this interview. I follow both these hiker's vlogs daily and it it interesting to hear their observations. I am also in the 60s age group. ;-)

Awesome video. I enjoy hearing from older hikers. I am one (62)! One of the best quotes I've heard about age, and I don't remember where I heard it is: "If you didn't know when you were born, how old would you be?" Keep hiking and enjoy the journey!!!

Enjoying the video but in the future you might want to say what trail you’re talking about. I was able to eventually figure it out but if you watch it again all you keep referring too is “the trail”? Besides that enjoying it

That lady in the black is a serial killer. You’ll see in the future that this comment is true. The lady in blue is straight up amazing and loves it. You are the same as the lady in blue btw
