Out of all the travel bloggers I watch, you two are my favorites because you have such great personalities. The kind of people I'd hang with. Good luck this year!

I love how candid you guys are about the realities of travelling. Yes, exploring these places is such a privilege, and so so amazing, but sometimes it can also be hard as he'll, exhausting, dirty, painful and you just wanna quit lol thanks for not glossing over the hard stuff, I'm loving this series!

Totally enjoying this look back at your journeys. Once again beautiful scenery and having you put into context from your point of view now is great. Looking forward to the Mermaid Suite 🧜♀️ while hitchhiking. One of the funniest Beans moments 🤣

How did the travel channel hear about you guys? Went to Myanmar last year, visited the capital naypyitaw first and it put an odd angle on how we felt about the rest of our time there.

Hi guys nice vlog, really enjoyed it, I am new to your channel, but now hooked!!! . Have been to Myanmar several times now , but there is one thing you should have done or if anytime you return. From Mandalay to Bagan or vice versa, forget the bus go by boat cruise it's a fantastic scenic beautiful way to travel that journey highly recommended. Anyway safe journey on all your future travels.

Possibly my favourite country I've been to.......still relatively untouched but that is changing by the year. I bought my brompton folding bike with me in 2013 through Mandalay, Inle Lake and Bagan......so much fun. The people are lovely, the culture is fascinating too.......unfortunately I got some sort of stomach bug 🐛 which took a week to sort (in Thailand) both even so I would still go back tomorrow if i got the chance again.

Myanmar is definitely on my bucket list, but I would love to do it by the Irawaddy river... If at all possible on my own canoe or if not possible, then maybe a bigger boat.

Wow. We didn't know you guys had been to Myanmar. We went there at the end of 2018 and loved it. If we would recommend a couple of places that you guys didn't go to it would be Hpa-An and Ngapali. We've got videos of those places if anyone's interested, or if you are. By the way, those poop situations can get a bit embarrassing. At least you had some tissue in your pocket. Sometimes one has to retrieve to jungle leaves 😂 Thanks for sharing guys. We're loving this series and you guys reflecting on your experiences 😘🙏

I did a trek in Thailand in 40c heat and it was so miserable XD, super sweaty, mosquitos everywhere and people were passing out and being sick.

Happy New Year to you 2 from Vienna. I spent about a month in Myanmar in Jan. 2015, so in the same year you were there. I really enjoyed it and found the people super-friendly, and I was coming from friendly Thailand. The buses were extremely comfortable but of course, these are tourist buses and they were all very new ... not sure how they proceeded once wear and tear kicked in. I would have loved to do a hot air balloon flight, but they were very pricey, almost 300 USD p.p. if I remember correctly. But there were probably some 20 or so balloons in the air that morning. The U-Bein Bridge is best done in the morning when everything comes to life. Motorbike-taxis are easily available from any guesthouse. Bagan on the other hand is best done by a rented e-scooter which were quite cheap. I remember that back then, choice of accommodation was still a bit limited and prices slightly higher than let's say Thailand or Laos, but I am sure availability has increased over the years. At Inle Lake, one should best take some smaller bills if you want the fisherman to pose for photos which they expect a tip for. I did not know that, so I missed out on more photo opportunities. And get out there onto the lake with sunrise. As for leeches, supposedly leech socks help and I was told not to burn them off with a cigarette as that could cause them to throw up all their bacteria into the wound. Best, if possible, would be to let them finish and then they will fall off by themselves ... but I only had one small one once on Borneo, I think ... Another interesting place, not sure if you went there, is Mount Kyaiktiyo where that precariously-placed Golden Rock is. It is not too far from Yangon but I'd recommend to stay overnight in one of the hotels on the mountain as then you can be there for both sunset and sunrise. Many locals stay overnight in the open there but I think that is not allowed for foreigners. Transportation from the mountain down also stops at a certain hour and it can get quite cold up there after sunset, so you need some accommodation. Really enjoyed your video as it brought back many memories. Thanks.

Did u guys try rubbing neem oil on urselfs before gojng to leech infested woods ? Also on top survey, when u see forest, avoid dark green patch and plot a way thru light green patch. But use neem oil for leech prevention.

Never been to Myanmar but now I'd like to, but maybe in the dry season or midseason to avoid crowds. I've been bitten by a tick and that was awful enough so the thought of a leech sucking my blood, well, I might go a bit bonkers. Not been on a TV show but I did submit a tape with a friend for the "Amazing Race" tv show. Take care you two!

Maybe, I might make it to Burma/Myanmar one day, despite my late Fathers horrific stories of the jungle wildlife, deadly snakes that don't slither away if approached. The leaches could be made to let go with a lit cigarette. The locals weren't that friendly during WW2 incase the Japanese found out and wiped out the village.
