This is great! I love how enthusiastic you are and how comfortable your kiddos is in the water with the ducks. This reminds me of my parents in North Carolina. I hope to be able to set up my own mini farm for my kids to enrich their experience. Great work and thank you for sharing this tour of your mini farm.

@joeydiscus69473 жыл бұрын
or quail both have about the same size requirements
@mariagolke36782 жыл бұрын
Rabbits actually are pretty hard to take care of if taken care of properly. Like they need lots of room to run and explore and have specific diets. I’d feel they’d be a great fit for this farm but many people who have them as pets don’t take care of them properly

Your backyard is cool lol as for your chicken coop, you MUST vent it more, all four sides to circulate the air better, leastwise from what I've learned. :) tc

I love your setup its amazing! only thing though you should probably use heat plates instead of lamps as lamps are unreliable and can set things on fire, first time watching, so far its great and keep up the amazing dream you are living in!!! -I wish I lived there!! your kid is so cute too
@jaredmiller8740Ай бұрын
Hi kiddo!👋😁 A word of caution on using pools for a pond. Some liners (most in fact) are not safe for fish due to the material they are made of and the chemicals it leaches into the water. As for your burrowing friend, sounds like rabbits. They are a pain lol.

Do you have a good farm dog? Every miniature farm needs a Miniature Australian Shepherd or to be more traditional get a Corgi. Super sweet working dogs! Our Mini Shepherd does so many tasks. When our ducks are getting low on food our Mini, named Mimi, comes to me with the news and by means of cute wiggles and wags she leads us right to the ducks. She also lets us know the moment eggs are laid. We couldn't get by without her.

Idea for that other animal. What about a baby goat for milk, cheese, etc. Why are you raising cat fish? You going to get more? Are you going to raise meat chickens too? :) Love your channel!
@HOUSEBILLINGS4 жыл бұрын
Good suggestion, we’re definitely getting some dairy goats in the future. All of our catfish are rescues that came from poor situations and we decided to give them a good home. Plus catfish are just awesome creatures in general. I’m sure we will have more in the future yes. As far as meat birds it is something my wife has done her best to convince me on so I’m sure it’ll happen eventually lol

Don't give tea or coffee grounds to poultry. It makes them super nervous. Our ducks won't eat onions. So onions and grounds go in the compost.
