The solution is obvious; set up both of your callers on a date with each other. They kinda sound like the solution to each other's problem. He seemed like a sensitive guy who won't go soft panic attacking over an ex.

It might help the punk rock musician to only date men who have *not* seen her onstage. I have a feeling these guys she's been dating are pretty impressionable, have totally idealized her (which is easy to do when you see a good musician onstage) and this messes them up. Then when they're with her--this perfect punk goddess--and they feel that they can't do everything absolutely perfectly, they freak out.

the only explanation to Emily's situation is that she comes from a long line of witches and men just can't handle the power I think moshe was right tho... you change yourself and you find that the world changes around you. She's stuck in a pattern. She's the one who has to get herself out of it In _regard_ to Nathan, it sounds to me like she kinda got freaked out when he texted her a few hours after the hook-up asking if they're an item. I know I would... and it seems like he was a little intense with his words because she felt the need to say "please don't worry." Maybe he needs to keep his cool if he wants to keep a girl Also, Natasha's face at 1:19:39 after leaving her body for 10 seconds

The gal is definitely a dominant type. She started the thing off chastising a famous host of the podcast she called... This seemed clear from the get-go, that she's serious and a little somber -- and she's going for damaged dudes, who are going to be totally traumatized by coming out of a relationship and going straight to a dominant, confident, assertive (and maaaaybe a little condescending) lady. It's a yin/yan pattern of their individual darker traits attracting each other. I've known loads of sensitive, emotionally crippled guys who end up repeatedly dating women a lot like her - and same deal with genders reversed (or out of the picture completely).

Music scenes is where she’s meeting them. Lots of drugs and alcohol could be the issue. Also they may hv been gay boys that don’t know they’re gay yet. Our it could be the girl appeared depressed. She may be a depressed anxious person and therefor attracting those type of men.
@noyb9012 жыл бұрын
The punk rock girls situation seems obvious. To begin with... she's extremely dominant. She is everything she says she wants in a man. But dominant men look for submissive women. She needs to understand the role she embodies (or drastically change it). She is attracting submissive men and doesn't know what to do with them. They're falling apart because they're feeling threatened (which they want)... but not controlled (which they require). She is what she is... she just has to understand the responsibilities that femdom entails. Once she learns the benefits of having a submissive (or several) she'll have a much richer sex life. I find it highly unlikely that she could become a sub. She reminds me of the punk rock girl in the viral video... that brought the guy up on stage and peed on his face. That girl knows who she is. So did the guy. They both were very happy.

Too bad this is a year old and I’m just now finding this podcast. I’m loving it so far. But the advice to the guy who’s in love with the medical student seemed a little off to me. When I was in nursing school I had to be laser focused During exam time. And I needed men to be super aggressive to get me to go out. Men often give up too easily because they think that you’re not interested when really medical school is a big deal you’re paying a lot of money for that that’s your whole future. If he’s into her he can wait

No one asked what the actual sex was like. It is very weird for someone to panic after sex. That may also be a clue. I am a little afraid she dated a longterm ex of mine 😂. Just kidding . . .same area, different taste in men.

Yeah - that definitely made me a little suspicious. One guy having anxiety? Sure! SIX?! That’s wild. The only time I’ve ever felt that way is when a boundary was significantly crossed. Seems like some key pieces were missing there.

I mean this question with compassion I swear: but does it seem like in the modern era, straight men are less equipt and resistant to normal sex with women? Sure, we don’t know how older generations really felt about dating as anything scandalous would’ve been silenced, but it doesn’t seem like men in the 40s who were in their 40s were having erectile dysfunction problems or stirring up anger towards women in themselves to the degree they can’t socialize with any of them normally. There seems to be a growth in a subset of men who self sabotage relationships with women as if they really don’t want them. Women however in the modern era are finding their sexuality and willing it share that with any man that is just borderline decent and yet she can’t because they whip their dick out or make a rape joke. Self sabotage.

Second dude: sad possibility is that she was turned on by her man Bo Burnham and invited him over for her to work out her seksyewal energy. She is very very not interested but trying to be polite (while sadly stringing him along).

I think a larger conversation to have is this admonishing of male emotions. Like i was kinda appalled how they were talking about these peoples panic attacks as if they were repulsive and negative. Men can have emotions too. And the fact that feminists always talk about toxic masculinity and at the same time make fun of men who cry is quite appalling and gross tbh. Mens feelings and expressions are being so subdued and these types of comments do not help. I think the chicks attitude is shit tbh. As well as the hosts attitude. I hope all those guys are okay and i wish them the best in their life.
