I really liked that last caller, he definitely had wholesome dad energy. I like how all three of them picked up on his vibes and gave advice to really consider having a kid. There’s something about his energy where you can really see it. He obviously really loves this woman and a part of him was legit fantasizing about having a kid with her, he was glowing while talking about her.

People often changed their names after immigrating to the United States for one of two reasons. Either they wanted to hide their ethnicity/nationality or other Americans had trouble pronouncing their given names. At Ellis Island, nobody wrote anybody's name down. They were just checked against the ship's passenger manifest. That doesn't mean correct spellings were always written down at the ports of origin. Ellis Island had translators for multiple languages.

I think it was a myth for Irish though. I had been told our name was O’Doyle before it became Doyle at Ellis Island, but I’ve since learned that’s not true and in fact O’Doyle is not a surname in Ireland.

I can say that the Ellis Island name changes are real, definitely. When my grandparents and father immigrated here, they used a fake name that they had used after the war, a name they perceived to sound less Jewish. When my dad married my mom and had us kids, they decided to give us the original last name for us. I have found records of both the validity of my grandpa bearing the original last name from the home country, and documents reflecting the name change upon immigration.

Speaking of acting processes, the first caller's process was holding a cigarette while asking a question that wasn't really a question. Italy! Second caller: don't have a baby to stay with someone. I agree with the 80% sure idea. If you're not there on your own, don't do it.

I'm also situational in the kid realm, but want to wait until I'm over 45 so i can travel/ afford it. ADOPT. It's actually cheaper in this country. Birthing a child is expensive. Love is more important than if you have kids or not, btw. Stay with the woman you love. Women aren't cows. if you guys end up wanting kids, adopt or foster to adopt.

I would have asked Hassan a lot more about his current situation, vision and goals for his life career and money wise.. get clarity and help him weigh that out. It's not as helpful to compare Tash's and Mosh's situation on parenting without acknowledging that career wise, these two are both completely aligned, and in the right vehicle for themwselves. they were in that spot first before having their babe, so its just what comes up for me.

Not to mention the increased difficulty of conception to birth at his girlfriends age. You can freeze your eggs, but your womb may be done with holding a full term pregnancy. She is already at the age of possibly needing fertility treatments, which her insurance might cover, but possibly not, and then we're talking tens of thousands. He seems to have a good heart and if he believes she has that and he loves that about her and they want kids, try the natural way now. It already might not be possible. Not saying that should completely sway his decision, but something to understand.

It's funny how 90% of the dating issues are so easily broken down by gender: men don't have enough options to find the right woman, women can't seem to narrow down their options and keep choosing the wrong man.

I only clicked on this because of Sam, super funny guy and makes it evident how unfunny the two clowns are. Not only does this look like the wake of Sam Morril because he's sitting with the sun behind him, but it's the most disjointed podcast visual due to the camera cuts and them not being in the same room together it feels like. No surprise Moshe and Natasha are steering this sh*t show. From the moment Moshe called his wife out on BS off the break because she believes anything someone she deems credible anecdotes is why she's never been funny. Mindless.
