uh no, BB 1&2 were both the reason why there's even a 3 to consider. you must not have liked the first two at all then. Michael Bay is good at what he does, but, when you put him on projects you better know what he does, otherwise you'll be disappointed.

I absolutely loved it. Entertaining from beginning to end. Beautifully shot. And so much better presented that the frantic-ness of Bay. It was exactly like a 90's buddy buddy cop action comedy, and that was great because we don't get anything like that now. Action films are either superhero or spy stories. After Ghostbusters: Answer The Call and Men In Black International it was nice to see Sony actually acheive a nostalgia ride that got what was so enjoyable about the originals. Fingers crossed for Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

ESPECIALLY THE FIRST ONE! They CAN'T out beat the first one! But even if this is the last Bad Boys movie, I'm glad Martin Lawrence & Will Smith return to do Bad Boys one last time! Nah, movie was excellent. My theater was howling with laughter the whole time. The emotional angle was well done and several of the plot twists were unexpectedly great. Will smith hasn't been this good in a long time and Martin Lawrence really sold not just the comedy but the heart to heart moments as well. The new team AMMO wasn't anything like the newbies from Expendables 3. For one they actually had personalities, second only one of them was poking fun at Mike's age but it never became irritating, third the leader of the team was around the same age as Mike so this old vs new conflict was completely made up by you, fourth one of them was actually a big fan of Mike's(Vanessa Hudgens) as opposed to the blatant disrespect all the newbies showed towards the old guard in EX3 and finally they were actually important to the story and not just shoehorned in. Oh and the argument "I've seen this all before" is a pile of bullshit. So what if you've seen it before? It's all in the execution and this film does a damn good job in that regard. As a film analysis channel I expect better arguments than that.

The first two are better and funnier certainly. But Bad Boys 3 is certainly a excellent action comedy in its own right, with a far better story this time. The magic is without a doubt still there. This third movie kind of reminds me in terms of not quite as good but still great fun, as say Die Hard 4 to the first three movies, or Batman Forever to the two Burton movies, or Lethal Weapon 3 and 4 to the first two movies. What i mean is BB3 was really good without a doubt, but cannot quite match the first two movies, if that all makes sense.

This one is showing a very not interested Martin who has lost his MOJO so to speak Look at all the interviews Martin is lazy n there's no charisma. The Martin we know n love is missing. Will on thd other hand is showing interest n is lit on fire but the combination between these two has thinned n sorry to say it's gone There will never be another high octane action comedy like the first one.. Never... But thumbs up for trying. Bay knew how to direct these two

I must say I totally disagree with you on this one. I was thoroughly entertained, loved the banter and jokes as well. Part one is still the best and is an awesome movie, especially the soundtrack. However in this day in age, I think this movie mixed the old and new very nicely. They kept the jokes on going from the first and second movie and that was great fan service to people like me who have been waiting for another “Bad Boys” for years. Yes , I do wish the second and third films were more like the first one... Gritty and raw, but with different people you will get a different movie. I hate the idea that a sequel has to up the ante from the original. No, it doesn’t... Not always at least. A bigger budget should mean more control and depth and attention to detail and continuity... Not just making it flashy or over the top. My two cents...

A rather lazy, narrow-minded review. It's an action comedy. It jumps between serious and funny. That's the idea. You understand that and are really grasping at straws for complaints to lengthen your review when you clearly were not ready to make one.
@chrislacy19904 жыл бұрын
Shawn Payne Well said. The film knows it’s an action/comedy/drama franchise, so I don’t get why Oliver says it doesn’t know what it wants to be. However, I do agree with Ollie when he says the soundtrack meets the minimum requirements. Mark Mancina’s 1995 score makes me feel like I was there in Miami. I hope Sony brings him back for No. 4 since it’s already been given the go-ahead on pre-production. While I have other nitpicks, ‘Bad Boys for Life’ has everything I want in a sequel: 1. Give the audience something new 2. Identify what worked before and continue to build 3. Change the stakes 4. Play with expectations 5. Add new memorable characters

I still know that the plot revolves around Kat de Castillos Character she obviously in that split second I saw her in this Quick Scenes she is the Cartel Madam Mexican Mafia Female Villain? And let me guess?! Mike Lowry (Will Smith Character perspectively) had relationship with the Latina Villain then as Result a Woman Scorned because she wanted him. Okay and What happened to his relationship with Marcus Burnnetts sister from bad boys 2! See this is what makes me frustrated about these Films no Continuity no reasonable Tie-in or a reasonable exposition from happened to tie-in to this film! To me Will smith Mike Lowry Storyline so far Fetched that he is able to have relationship with an organized Crime Mexican Mafia Female like Kate de Castillos Character. Seems very Much a stretch I don't understand its that much a spoiler I'll just Stick to part 1 of Bad Boys 1995 I prefer it To Martin's Show instead of Wills I think they really emasculated Marcus aka Martin Lawrence in this. No that very Excited about this third outing seems very cliched! Anyways just my opinion.

Correct that statement about a full blown Mexican kids, because I have a sister who is white with the only sign she has any black in her is that she has the curvy shape of all the women in my family, my dad even had a DNA test done to confirm if she was really his and she was if I showed her to u, you would say that's a full blown white girl with her body done.

I liked the movie way more than Bad Boys 2. I love the original Bad Boys and felt pretty satisfied after watching this one. Totally agree with you on the score. I’m was very disappointed that they didn’t bring back Mancina. It felt like the filmmakers made a conscious effort to pay homage (fan service at times) to the original film with elements such as the guy who marries Marcus’s daughter and the club entrance scene. I'm thankful for the films though as it helped Martin Lawrence and Will Smith's career and showed they could do action as well as comedy films.
