I saw this tour HoB Hollywood. He phoned it in, kinda stoned. Two guys mentioned near me "Bad Brains Karaoke". I replied: "All of these young guys will be able to tell their grandkids in 2075 that they got to mosh to the BB." Is it like 1980 or 87? No. (Old DC guy here) But bands like this will not exist in 2075.

I wonder IF it was physical as to why he wasn’t jumping around....something though tells me it wasn’t physical limitations at this point in time. He is still slim here and could dive off the stage and hop around. Perhaps it was solely the state of mind that kept him basically still and motionless. It watching this is like watching a loud and super fast corvette hobbling down the autobahn. So weird.

at some point he just completely changed. saw them in 2000 it was obvious something was up,with hr. always heard wild stories about him but when i saw them in 2000 he wasnt really the same anymore.

@Keith1974 i saw them two nights in tokyo in 2000. he was really wild. also saw them in 1994 with deftones. was ok. kinda strange but not so noticeable. everyone showed up for the concert but hr just played some congos and smoked i think if i remember correctly. then they announced show was canceled and theyd play the next night instead. i had heard strange stories about him in the 90s though just like randomly staying at peoples apts and stuff.
