Hey there! Thank you for playing My Grandparent's House! I´m the developer and I´m glad to see you playing it. Just to clarify, all models and music were made from scratch. I made all models and hired a talented musician for the music, I also hired two voice actors for the main characters. This is my first "big" game, as I have been learning videogame making for a while but never got to do something like this. I know I still have much to learn, but I am working on improving as much as possible.

Omg guys, So during Charlie's first round playing that game lasers, the last game he did, if you look in the bottom left at 1:26:00, You can see there's actually in game chat there, and it's so fucking sweet and wholesome! I'm sad that Charlie didn't notice, I was really hoping he would comment on it because it was so dang cute, like they were just being so supportive and genuinely nice. If someone wants the lore without having to look it up first, basically it was Charlie's first round so he was still getting the hang of it, and in this game you can die as many times as you want, but you have to finish within a certain time limit for each level, and all the other players had finished by then and were just waiting on him to finish. But instead of being asses about it or talking shit they were saying: *"come on moist"* *"you can do it"* *"I believe"* and *"YOU GOT THIS CRITICAL"* I don't know man It was just genuinely fucking sweet.🥰 I just had to leave a comment about it since Charlie didn't notice it unfortunately, I'm sad he didn't honestly, I was really hoping he would at the end there 😅 Edit: It appears that later on while playing that game that people who had been in stream who owned the game or hell maybe just bought the game because they wanted to play with Charlie, that people from stream started joining his games, probably just because there aren't many players so it's more likely than not that you'll get on the same team I guess? I still feel fairly certain that that first round was with a group of people who didn't know who he was yet, because he matched so quickly and it was a random match, although I could be wrong, but I want to believe, man. I want to believe that there's just genuinely supportive gamers helpin' gamers 🥹

@@ACDCvirus I feel like they all saw that everyone else is saying it’s only action so there is no way the story is good and just went with that. I never felt like the story was bad. It was always well paced and did a good job of getting you hyped for the next sequence of events. It’s a real screen swiper (page turner) where you want to see what happens next. That alone makes the story good if it keeps you excited throughout.

I'm not sure if they're anime only or know about manhwas but personally at the time this kind of premise was like the bread and butter for A LOT of manhwas and I just got burned and never finish it out thinking "ah it's the same formula all over again" >Someone (usually a loser or whatnot) get a power up thru random magical hologram screen 1. Glow up/ get stronger (usually OP) after random good deeds 2. Look cool and hype Repeat 1 and 2 It's like the Korean version of "Isekai genre"

Tbh Ɪ read solo leveling the whole manhwa , was it fun? Hell yeah, was the story unique? Not really, the characters unique?
