Bad Rising Star⭐ news... Will he ever get better? | Friesian Horses

Such a shame... Everything is still going well here in this video with Rising Star⭐ But a few weeks later, things weren't going well for Rising Star⭐
I will explain much more about this soon. At least from what I know. Would things ever get better again? Time will tell.
I've thought for a long time about how I was going to tell this. When I first discovered it, I didn't know how it would end. And I don't know that yet, while posting this video. So time will tell.
I often post videos from a few weeks ago. This way I don't have any pressure to post something quickly. This also gives me the time and space to see how a horse is doing. Before I start posting all kinds of things about a horse. And that everyone will think something of it. But Rising Star's recovery will take a long time... So I don't know how it will end... but I will share it with the world.
I hope you understand. I think I just have bad luck with horses very often. Would that ever get better?

As I explained in this video, there is something wrong with Risiey his legs. After posting this video, a few subscribers transferred an amount to my PayPal and with Super Thanks on KZbin, to pay the costs for Rising Star. Thank you so much for that! I really appreciate it. 🤗🤗🤗 I would also like to thank you all very much for all the kind comments.🥰 I brought Risey out of the pasture a couple of weeks ago, lame. I don't know exactly what happened. Whenever possible, I try to do something about it. I'm very sad about it😪 I had so many plans for him. Will this ever work again? I've had vets see him. I have also done a number of other things with him. But it will take time... if things ever get better again. Over time, I will actually share more in videos. But first, I will continue with the other horse and horse things I have experienced. There are so many horses now! Soon 2 new horses at Stal H! More later...

People thought you would never do things you do with your horses let alone walk and talk. You fought your way back. I don't know what is lame on that big boy, but he is a fighter. He fought to love with the Queen's support. He has taken life in strides and has succeeded. Don't throw in the towel, yet. He has alot to show. I sure pulling for him, just like I pulled for you.

Don't give up hope on Risey! My horse Holly was injured in a fence, she got caught in smooth wire wrapped around her leg while rolling. We had to use wire cutters to release her. She had literally sawed her leg right through the tendon down to the bone! We called the vet & as luck would have it they sent out a brand new vet, straight out of vet school. We thought Holly was a goner. That brand new vet sewed her tendon right up. We had to soak her leg and it was a VERY LONG recovery, but miraculously she did recover perfectly! She not only walked without a limp but was able to run and play again. Holly lived a long and happy life to age 32. God is good. Prayers for sweet Risey. 🙏

Not knowing what the issue is I can't really do much but be lend support. Over the years we had several issues with our horses. Some seemed hopeless when they first happened. But I can also tell you that we had some pretty major successes! You, yourself, know that things can get better even when they seem bleek. Do you think it may be a case of Equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM)? I have come to know that it is curable and Yvonne could learn a lot from the channel “Homestead horsemanship” created by a family of farmers in the US. They show everything about a Clydesdale horse named Oliver rescued by them with EPM. He is the same age as RS. At this age the chances for a cure are there. Whom ever read this that is Close to Yvonne, please tell her about this channel asking her to Check on You Tube for Oliver’s story and the treatment applied may bring Yvonne some light on how to treat our beloved Rising Star. I’m trying to get her to read this.

Yvonne, he will heal, I promise. I had a 20+ year old Quarter horse, and he went lame to where he couldn't walk. I walked across the pasture every day to feed and water him. I don't remember how long it took, I wanted to say 1 to 2 weeks, but he healed and was able to walk again. He was my first horse, and I loved him very much. I'm positive that him being a young horse, he will heal quickly. Give him some time and love. He's a fighter, strong, and special. Very well said...not bad luck just 'one of those things'. I think about boss Rein losing dear Myrthe to Wobbler and recently losing Wouter Rein to pneumonia. Horses do appear to be very sensitive animals but I know Yvonne will do everything possible to help Risey.

I’ve had horses get what seemed like devastating injuries recover and live great lives. One took 2 years of slow careful recovery and rehab before he was no longer lame. I hope Risey recovers from his lameness. I remember part of the true story about Seabiscuit. He went lame and they thought his racing days were over. He recovered and went on to win more races. Keep the faith. I send positive thought sent your way.

He went on to win the The ‘Hundered’ Grander at Santa Anita race track in 1940, his owner’s dream come true, and a FANTASTIC feat due to his older age. This horse gave the public hope and cheer during height of the Great Depression. He was the Secretariat of his era. We hope and pray the same for Rising Star.

I have been watching Friesian Horses for a long time.. long before Rising Star appeared.. you work hard Yvonne to look after all your horses. Your horses and animals are really well looked after and loved. Whatever you decide to do, we know it will be in the best interest of Rising Star.. but, don't forget, it must be in the best interest of everyone including yourself and your family.. hopefully Rising Star will make a full recovery..

As a loving being, when you care for an animal you immediately see when something is wrong. It is alarming and heartbreaking, and you begin to take steps to help the animal. I have two cats who have different medical issues. The veterinarians are surprised at how quickly I notice changes in their health conditions. The same is for you, Yvonne. The most special colt in the world, seems like he was finally becoming confident again establishing his rule amongst the colt herd just like his mem. Saddening time to found out about his lameness, he looked to have matured so beautifully in the video indeed. A million wishes that everything will go well for Rising Star and you. First, I love that you have brought Risey home and he is next to his mom. My beautiful boy, Beau came up lame 6 years ago and was really suffering in pain. It took a few weeks of testing & X-rays before finally taking him to the vet school the University of Georgia here in the U.S. They used nerve block to finally narrow down to the real cause, a bone cyst in the right stifle area. They gave me two options, arthroscopic surgery to clean it out then to inject a potent steroid to encourage healing or euthanasia due to the pain he was in. After the surgery he had to be kept quiet in his own stall/ paddock for 4 weeks. The sight of him at the end of the 4 weeks taking off up into the pasture at a gallop to be with his herd was wonderful. I hope Risey is able to have a similar outcome.

You know....all things happen for a reason.....we may not have a clue what the reason may be! But I believe that Rising Star was brought to make Uniek.....and thousands of people....very happy, which he did! His young life was saved, for a reason! Having had four horses, two into which I invested a lot of training (and waiting) time, I believe in patience and good food, as well as equine veterinarians. I've watched with great respect, your care for this orphaned boy, and see the strength and health you have built I to him. If you remain calm and positive, so will Rising Star. He trusts you to do what is best. While horses are incredibly vulnerable to injury, so are they incredibly resilient. I pray to our Creator, who surely must love horses as one of the favorites of creation, to give Rising Star the extra blessing he needs to fully recover his mobility and strength.

Painted desert ranch almost put down Cezar...for a leg injury based on a veterinarian, they did it their own way and hes doing fine, and even covered a mare or more.......
