It's an accurate title tho 🤷♀️ I think it works. The music in this video was enjoyable. I have liked a lot of the songs you put on, but I like this more like techno-y, house-kind-of sound it's got going on. Who is the artist?

Lights out for 1 week kills cyno. If 1 week is not enough then do another week. Works every single time and never comes back this way. Just make sure its all gone before you go back to normal lighting. I have used this method for 8 different tanks over the years and it worked for all of them(cyno seems to pop up recently after setting up a new tank for me). Years later now and none of those tanks have had cyno since. This method also works for most types of algae too. No nasty chemicals needed.

Hey MD, I had a few questions , since I'm setting up a nano planted tank with fluval stratum and a bit of dirt ... I was wondering whether I should add the plants first or should I cycle the tank first and then add the plants in .. plants are gonna be some rotala ,s.repens and a bit of water lettuce . Also how long should I let the plants adjust since I'm buying emersed plants I'm expecting them to die out and then grow back later on in the future .Last question, since its a no filter no CO2 tank what fertilizers should I use in the near future, I'm thinking of going with the Seachem Flourish since it has all the nutrients and is afoordable ... would love your thoughts . Thanks !
@vEGan19094 жыл бұрын
Randomz Channel Maybe I can share some experience with my dirted tank: plant first, then cycle. My tank doesn’t need fertilizers. The animals (fishes, shrimps and snails) produce enough fertilizer for the plants 😉 so I have to trim rotala, limnophila sessiliflora etc. every two weeks 🌿🐟🌱🦐🌿🐌🌱 Greetings from Germany Esther
@sunaymukherjee75764 жыл бұрын
@@vEGan1909 Thanks a lot Esther , but the problem with my tank is that it will only house a Betta and a few snails at max , so I don't think they would produce enough waste for the plants..Anyways thanks for your time . Cheers !

Hiya MD. I have a question! I set up a 4ft tank and it's now on its second week cycle. My external filter is filtering it at 1000ltrs every hour. My problem at present is I have a slimey rainbow coating on the surface of the water. Doesn't seem to shift. For me going this big for an aquarium is massive for me. I definitely feel I have deadspots. Algae is forming on the sand and there's fine bubbles around the glass at the top. How could I improve the flow to be quicker? Would a wavemaker solve this for me?

Making a 75 gallon dirted Asian fish tank with no retaining wall with rocks strewn about, full tank height driftwood, and grass in the front? Perfectly describes my tank that I've been posting on r/MD_Fan_Tanks... interesting. Well good luck, mine turned out amazing, i'm sure yours will be just as good if not better! I recommend pearl gouramis as the center piece fish, beautiful, personable, non aggressive, and asian!
