I think that this song shows Freddie's passion for his music he was dying at this time and knew he didnt have long but still told the band to just keep giving him music to record he needed it at the time plus wanted to leave the guys with enough material to work with after he was gone I find these facts show just how brave this man was and how incredible he was to still have it in his to record while he was dying . Freddie Mercury truly was not only an incredible artist/performer but a truly incredible human being thanks guys lots of love to you both ❤

Don’t forget the whole concert at Wembley in 1986. Freddie & the boys at the height of vocal styles & musicianship across the group. Will need to be done in 20 minute blocks. So many different tracks & tributes to the past greats of rock n roll..

If you react to the whole concert, please do the 1st night. I know that the 2nd one is more iconic, but the 1st night is just a whole lot better. The performances in the 2nd night are below average for Queen's standards, but the 1st night... my favorite concert ever.
@rickysld4 жыл бұрын
If you didn't know, they did two wembley shows, the 1st night, on Friday July 11th 1986 and the 2nd night, on Saturday 12th 1986. Initially there was meant to be just 1 show, but they had so many fans at that time that the tickest got sold out after a few hours. Of course there were a lot of disappointed fans who couldn't get the tickets in time, so they announced another show the night before (what I called the 1st night) and another HUGE show at Knebworth Park, which had an estimated audience of 400.000 people. They used the Friday night as a rehearsal for the cameramen and for the band, and they still made the live album out of the 2nd night. Anyways, I think that somehow the 1st night has a much better audio quality (and, as I said before, a much better performance, since the band wasn't as nervous and Freddie's voice was in much better shape). kzbin.info/www/bejne/qGXQonagoruti8k (there was a video with a much better quality, but it's probably been blocked)

Freddie & Brian were a true force to be reckoned with. Just a phenomenal performance. As Brian has described it, they never talked about Freddie’s health yet it was all around them. The songs were a way for them all to work through it.

When Brian's voice sets in in the 3rd verse, I regularly tear up, because I know Freddie had passed at that point.☮Thank you for your reaction.-- I dedicated my channel to Freddie and Queen for the love of their music and the love for each member.

His very last singing alive. That's it. So sad when the instrumental comes in and Brian comes in because you know Freddie had died by then. So so sad. What a legend. The very very last lyrics were Freddie singing the song "Goin back" his first song at the start of Queen as their first album was coming out.

Freddie sang the first two verses & Brian finished. Such a sad song...he knew he was dying and didn’t have long 😢 The end of the song is all of their songs in reverse order...until he was a baby.

Thanks so much for doing this one guys. This song always makes me cry, especially this time of year so close to the anniversary of Freddie’s death. His voice is so beautiful it defies belief that they are the vocals of a dying man. Roger, Brian and John did a tribute song for after he had passed called No One But You (Only The Good Die Young). It’s another heartbreaker but beautiful

Thank you for reacting to this one. At this point, Freddie who would usually only do the vocals after the instruments were recorded, instead recorded as many vocals as he could so they could arrange the songs after he had passed. He knew there wasn’t time to do the instruments first, and I respect him so much for his dedication.

Thanks for your reaction. Please react to 'The Show Must Go On', is a 1991 song from the album Innuendo. Many have called this song ''Freddie Mercury's testament'', or his farewell letter. The recording took place in 1990 and Freddie has managed to sing it so well that no one would say he was sick. The song's placing as the final track on Innuendo; is notable, as it's likely that the band thought that this might be the last album Mercury would be healthy enough to perform on before his death.

This is both the saddest and bravest song I've ever heard. Even if you know nothing about the circumstances of its making it hits you at a gut level. Listening to it, I think about how hard it must have also been for Brian, scribbling down words for Freddie to sing, knowing that here was a man who knew he would not be alive to see them recorded. They were friends. Freddie used to kid about disagreements with Brian, but he wrote the song Soul Brother for his friend. It's not common for a rock band to stay together for 20 years with the same members. These guys liked and respected each other, which enabled them to stick together and support Freddie through the course of his dying.

Ohh my eyes floating over 😢 Freddie sang the two first vers, Brian the rest. They was in Switzerland, where Freddie could get some piece. In England he couldent go out of his house, he was a prisinor in his own house bc of the press, they was very ugly with him. When he should sing the song he had to shut with Vodka, and said on Freddie-way....I shall fucking do it dalihn......but he had to go home, he said he come back the day after, but he dident 🥺 he come back to England to his beloved Garden Lodge. He stop tak the medication, he only took painkillers. He dieath 11.24.91. I was with people at that time who dident care about Queen, so diden knew that he was death pretty long after he passed, OMG I cry and cry for days, and I feel so shame, for I dont had knew it 😭😭 they was here 12 april -82, nowbody told me, lived at a school that time, and dident know nothing. I dident know they had been here beefor about two years after. If I had knew, I had coming on that concert...luv 💕🥀

@marciebulsaraorcutt4 жыл бұрын
At 4:35 ...."Mother love, aha" were the LAST words that Fred ever recorded. After the lengthy musical bridge, the third verse starting at 5:18 is Brian May's voice singing. At 5:48, they merge into "God works in mysterious ways" (in Freddie's voice, even though you wouldn't know it!) from the beginning of the song "One Vision", as we also hear some of Freddie's famous "AYY OH"s. At 6:08, we are hearing young Freddie's voice (recorded under the name "Larry Lurex" in 1973) ....singing the beginning lines of the song "I'm Going Back" . "I'm Going Back" is a BEAUTIFUL song, BTW.... One of my favorites! PULEAZE do a reaction to it sometime!
