This was on the Made In Heaven Album it was the last song they recorded and freddie died before it was finished he said he was tired and would come back to finish he never did. Brian May had to finish singing the song

Hank, Freddie was an epic partier! Elton John once said "Freddie Mercury could out party me". That says a lot. It's documented in Peter Freestone's book, too. Lots of vodka, coke and uppers....but he didn't have an addictive personality and quit everything to try to extend his life.

Brian wrote this gave to Freddie a sentence at a time. He sang each one 3 times. He couldn’t finish the song so Brian had to later. It makes me so sad when I hear this cause we all know what’s happening. But thanks for doing it.

it's told Freddie said he'd come back to finish it the next day, as he was tired.... but he never came back... Freddie had some vocal chord nodules too, and saved his voice in some concerts, then stopped doing gigs after the Magic Tour in 1986

Don’t forget to do a Winters Tail. The last one Freddie wrote & he sung it looking out over the lake. 😢I have one for Hank Five Finger Death Punch “ Blue on Black” with Brian May, & others. It’s for first responders. Very powerful song, & Brian playing makes it. 🤩👍

Your right Hank, Freddie party back in the day. But not to the extreme. The rest of the band drank, but kept it low key. Roger sand he tried pot once & he didn’t like the way it made him feel, so he drank & chased women. Deacon just drank his roadie use to have him a cocktail bar behind the drums. Roger said by the end of a show he was flying.😂😂

Wow, still saddens me, every time. There's the official video for this song, full of Freddie pictures and footage. It's nice, but also very distracting from the song, so I think it's much better to start with a "non-video" like this.
