Oh i am, this engine doesn’t look like anything great but its been bored over, new camshaft/lifters and rockers. It just sat for awhile after that was done so it looks crappy, but is essentially a newer engine. Just bought a built trans for it too.

That engine definitely needs to go back much further, it will give you better weight distribution and more clearance for the hood, your radiator needs to lean back some so you will need the room ahead of the engine, plus you could raise the body on the chsssis 1-2 inches

You should use a C3 vette rearend. It is IRS and uses a momo-leaf set up.

I just picked up an 05 Z71 that was in a rollover. Fires right up I cut the roof off getting ready to do a body swap. I'm going for square body crew cab flatbed. And then my daughter wrecked my 99 Suburban pretty good but it's probably going to fire up, a new body swap. Not sure yet. You inspired me sir !

Id love to see more of a traditional corvette out of this. The radiator lays back not straight up. Buy a '63 vet model and get more of an idea how things were layed out by GM originally. Thanks for sharing with us, I love it.

Rig lifting lines and pulleys from the ceiling so you can just lift and drop the body. It's light enough your ceiling should take the weight and it's high enough to just go up and down right in place. 4 lines one to each corner so it doesn't flail around. Hook it up to a cheap harbor freight winch on the wall.

I was thinking the same but with a bicycle ceiling pulleys kit for pulling bicycles up to the ceiling for storage. He may need to replace the rope with a better rope depending but one kit would be strong enough as it is for several bicycles.

Maybe a little help/tip… tack some 1” or 1x1 something you have laying around to the bottom of the frame, to where it sticks out of the sides. Then you can set the body on that and it’ll put the bottom of the rocker in line with the bottom of the frame Move your link mount crossmember back to right before the frame pops up and just shorten links. That looks like it’d give you room for seats

Corvettes are mid-engined. They've always been, even before the C8. They were just front mid-engined...but the engine is behind the front axle centerline.

DUDE CASEY, Big Chief and Jeff Lutz from Street Outlaws placed their twin turbos rear mounted on "The Crow" and "The '57 Chevy". The intake is reversed pointed backwards towards the firewall. This thing is currently the baddest thing on the internet! Please take your time on it and bring that motor back some to bring the weight to the center! Personally I would weld frame rails out to the rockers and cut out the straight rails in it just to drop the floor down in for seat room but I’m sure you will figure out what works best for you. Loving this build and excited for the next video. Keep up the good work!

Don't move the engine, put the turbo behind the motor, turbo can be placed anytime. My friend mustang has turbo near the rear end..Why don't u invest in a Is ceiling crane. Great video

A bit about s10 rear axles 4wd ones are wider and have the disc brakes, 2wd ones are narroer by about 4” and can accomodate the discs by adding a 3/16” spacer to the axle flange,
