I have the plan, if I'm ever gonna get into a conversation with a girl, I'm interested in again (I mean, it's gonna happen eventually, right? 😅🤭 my one and only relationship ended over 4 years ago...), I wanna ask her if she likes cheese.... 😅 If she turns out knowing the movie and laughing, we're gonna get married. 🥰

@Latifah-uq7zr You know, there is this one channel, I recommended a movie and he said that he was interested in reacting to it. Kept pushing it further and further since October 2022!! 😅 Hasn't reacted to it yet. More recently, for a few months now, I recommended another movie that I would love to see a reaction to, that seems to have a bit more support from other viewers, too. And he has replied that he's planning to do it, multiple times now. Still hasn't. 🤷‍♂️ It is, what it is. Can't cry about it. Stay patient, positive and passionate. Suggest it a few more times, so it gets supporters and into polls a lot and you will eventually get there. I don't know what else to tell you.....

@chanceneck8072 6 ай бұрын
@@aly6192 sure, I was considering to do that anyway. In case this channel has some YOUNGER audience as well... Well, basically the short explanation would be, that "to give head" is a derogatory but common description for giving someone a blowjob. So, if someone "gives good head", they can blow good. 😅🤭 I will not describe, what a BJ is, I hope you understand that the context is of sexual nature.... And within the context of the scene in the movie, the way he said "Yeah, she gives good nod" after she nodded so flirtingly to Viola, it's implied that she.... you know? 😅🤭🙈 And it just makes you burst out laughing. At least I did. The age of the character and that they're in high school, so technically allowed but still pretty naive and inexperienced adds to the humor of said context... Hope I could help... I love this movie. There was a good six months where I was obsessed with it as a teenager and I would watch the commentary track over and over. The "she gives good nod" line was improvised. :) And the actors who played Toby and Andrew (Duke's best friends) were apparently begging for more lines in the workout scene and you can see them casually "curling" a barbell loaded with a ridiculous amount of weight in the background of one shot lol. Duke's necklace with the ring had a whole backstory that was told to Channing Tatum, it was supposed to belong to his character's mom but they never mention it in the movie. They also originally had Malcolm escorting Monique at the Debutante Ball but the cast protested and pointed out he was kind of geeky and they didn't think Monique would end up with him, so she's escorted by Justin instead.

That “some are born great..” quote at the end of the film actually comes from the Shakespeare play Twelfth Night. Malvolio says it in the play

I saw this movie in the cinemas!! Loved it ever since! Amanda is great in "Sydney White" as well, another college aged romcom, but based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Fun fact: The blonde actress who plays Olivia, (Laura Ramsey) was born and raised in Brandon Wisconsin. A tiny town about 45 minutes South Southwest of Appleton. I went to high school with her older brother and sister. ON WISCONSIN!!

I never realized just how much this movie takes from the classic 80’s comedy, Just One Of The Guys, which is great. Recommended for a future reaction.

Took me a while to notice but Robert Hoffman who plays Justin was actually the lead in Step Up 2 which is pretty cool since Channing 's career *really* started with him leading Step Up.

Yooooo this was my favorite film for a long time!!! A lot of the jokes don't hold up nowadays, so it can be a tough watch at times, but the nostalgia still HITS for me. Never got that "nod" joke until today ahaha 🤣🤣🤣 Fun fact: this plot is actually based off of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night - hence, Duke Orsino, Viola and Sebastian, Olivia, Malvolio, Illyria, the twin switch and love mixups/foibles, etc. It's one of my favorite Shakespearean comedies too, which tracks. So TECHNICALLY, while nowadays this is a pretty cliche storyline, the OG play was kind of the first time a plot like this had been done. :))) Glad you all enjoyed it!!! I love David Cross and Channing Tatum in this one, just SPOT ON comedic chops. Still so funny, so engaging, goofy and unrealistic, but a great time.

Not sure if any of you know this but the plot and characters of this movie are based on the play “Twelfth Night” by William Shakespeare. Lots Easter eggs like the name of the school or pizza place, and Channing Tatum’s character based off a DUKE named Orsino. The same goes for “O” with Josh Hartnett and Makhi Pfeifer being based on Othello by Shakespeare!
