Badger is a excellent brand, i have Models; 150, 100 XFG, 100 side feed (left handed, special edition) and have NEVER experienced any technical problems like split nozzles/tips or bend needles, best value for money!

Do you also have the bent adapter like he does in the photo for the 150? I can't find it anywhere and can't attach my hose to the pen without it.

I started airbrushing a few years ago and have a badger 155 Anthem. The thing is a work of art itself and is build like a brick chit house. Plus it is pretty good for beginners. My biggest issue is getting the right consistency with the paint itself.

@liwiathan if you´re thinking of the "angled piece" on the air hose it is actually just the standard end connection of the hose itself the other end being straight, some of the newer air hoses have straight connections at both ends so look for a slightly "older" (still being manufactured though) version of the air hose. -Check badger.com for parts and equipment!

I bought replacement lids from badger, but they only have the clear pipe coming through the top of the lid. Mine has a tapered metal piece such as you show here. How do I fit this to the airbrush?

the first two models can be used as a single action, by using the adjusting knob as a trigger set. by turning the screw in, one can control the spray. if there isn't enough travel, reset the needle to respond with less travel, then when the screw is turned, that will push the trigger back. after the desired amount of paint is attained, just push down on the go button, and you are now using a single action.

good ones are dual(double) action gravity feed airbrushes.cheap acrylic colors are createx.i have a iwata revolution br airbrush and it works perfect for papers and canvas but you can buy a cheaper one too.btw i am a grafiti artist too:)

@SingleTrack66 yea got on great with it actually. In the end I gave up on my 40yr hobby, getting on so this is my time. Great airbrush, very easy to use..

@ElCholoMasChulo Look at the end of your needle, how many grooves does it have? -None or one groove means fine, two grooves means medium size, three grooves means large...You need a tip that matches the needle, F, M or L, simple as that. :-)

It would be nice if the airbrush and compressor industry didnt like to keep the sizes of their compressor connections, hoses and adapters a "trade secret". over 90% of the items I find online totally OMIT the size of their connectors, hoses and adapters. On top of that the adapters you need you simply cannot find online. Seriously is there some secret war raging in the industry, that impels the makers of these items to keep the size of their products a secret from the general public? I've been trying for 2 straight days to find out what I need to do to connect a California Air Tools 6300 Compressor to a Badger Gravity Airbrush and Gravity Braided hoses. It's a futile endeavor.

The sizes are not trade secrets. They use 1/4 and 1/8 NPT connections. Can also get the connections and adapters at any auto parts house cheaper then going online.

Help! I have an external siphon feed brush, and I can't get my paint to come out. I have successfully sprayed a cleaning mix, but can't get the paint. I can see the paint going up the tube to the airbrush. I have fully opened and closed the nozzle, but that doesn't help. I don't think the paint is too thick, especially after this video, which says my style airbrush is meant for thicker paints. Any helps?

+Angela Lamson I have the exact same problem. I can only spray water or very, very diluted paint, so diluted it will only cause droplets and is completely useless. I also have the feeling that some air is coming out on top of the airbrush, right under the "lever" and I don't think that is normal.

I bought a Badger Model 200 set and its my first airbrush and it only sprays out air, it sprayed paint once but it just exploded everywhere! I need help!!!!

Check needle adjusting screw. That's what controls the paint flow. Turn the needle outward more paint flow. Turn it in, less paint flow. Another thing, make sure your paint is very well mixed. [paint] Too thick clumps and clogs flow. Hope this helps.

3:38 I have the same type of airbrush seen here. I have this problem that air keeps on blowing back into the jar ever time I try to use it. Dose anyone have any idea what might be wrong? I have cleaned it thoroughly several times and it is still having the same problem.
