Badlands Load Equalizer III for HD Sportster Installation & Review

I got a badlands load equalizer for an 09 road king, I had the conversion to make the rear turn signals running/ brake lights, with that installed this module will not stop the hyper flashing, unplug that module and this one will stop hyper flashing, idk why they don’t tell you that in the description, that conversion is very common, badlands even sells that module themselves so it’s ridiculous that they don’t tell you the load equalizer won’t work with the other module.

Domt know if ill get a reply, but ive got an 01 Sportster and trying to figure out where it connects (havent bought one yet but wanting to learn about it before i buy). It doesnt connect to the TSM right? Connects to the rear lighting connector coming out of the rear fender?

Can the module be compatible with other brands of led lights or aftermarket? or does it have to be one product with the module brand? Thank You

were you blowing accessory 15amp fuse before installing the equalizer? I have leds all the way around on my 06 xl and keep blowing accessory 15 fuse. I am trying to determine if i need equalizer or resistors.

question..installed this and lights all pretty easy..everything works just when i take off the kickstand to go for a drive it all goes black. Any idea the issue?? 2015 streetglide

Just installed mine, but it only works when the bike is parked, once I get moving it starts hyper flashing again. Anyone have any suggestions?

Does the equalizer have a male and a female connector so you connect both ends?

Did your display have the red key for the security system on? I just installed LED at All 4 corners and the red key on the speedo came on. It's for the security system that it does not have.

When the red key comes on solid. Not flashing. It's a check light. Same as a check engine light on a car. My LEDs installed, made the check light come on also! That's normal. This will fix that.

I had to run resistors on my front turn LEDs but not my all-in-one rear; '00 Sportster.

I bought it. I forgot what model it was, but it was a common prebuilt one out there. I had to get it painted and all that.

does it become very hot? I used kuryakyn load equalizer on my harley 2009 FXCW and it become very hot I can't touch it by hand..

@@rigosgarage5961 Ya try to check it. Mine is KURYAKYN and it become too hot around 70c. During my search I found out instead of using costly MODULE we can install a flasher relay and it will work fine. There is a youtube video explain that.. good luck..
