Badlands South Dakota

After Lawrences hitch was done we drove home together. (July 31st)
First stop was the Badlands. It was amazing to see it in person. Photos and video don't do it justice.
There were some buffalo at the entrance, but we didn't see many/
The cost to enter was $30 per car.
Plan for most of the day as it is huge and lots of stops to make and some hiking trails. Not dog friendly, but there were some places dogs can go without issue.
We went back through Rapid City on our way out of the state and went through Stugis. The rally had just barely started and we were not going to be there for it, but it was cool to finally see what Sturgis was.
The first leg of our trip we ended up in North Dakota for the night.
