Agreed. 35 year old LCW beat Momota in his prime in the Malaysia Open. He was actually pretty close in the Indonesia Open after that but he had cancer... Otherwise I suspect he might have won that as well. Nobody touched Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei in their primes

Tbh i dont know what i feel about lin dan, in NZ when I went to see him play, when he sensed the match would be hard in the finals, he kinda stopped trying, I imagine this is maybe to show that he only lost because he didn't feel like it, and not that his skill was starting to deteriorate, this as a young person made me lose most of my respect for him. It would have been nice to see a good match : (

after winning everything.. lindan started to lose interest in super series. he only want to focus on big event. nobody is perfect. it's just superdan lose his motivation after 2012. the only motivation he have left was to play against lee chongwei. you see he play with fire when he play against lee. but against other player he play just "enough" to secure his points for olympic.
