well, i tested all : shimano ep8, bosch cx perf. yamaha pw x3 and all the rest like brose. nr. 1 in power, longlife, silence and wight. bafang m510 ... nothing better on market.

Thank you. Actual applicable content for deciding which motor to get. This information isn't out there. This is the only channel that has these crucial tests about motor performance. I think BikeRadar did one where they had the EP8 on profile 1 meaning 70Nm so practically a mid drive motor at that point. So people think based on that Shimano has the same range. By far the worst range. I had the same numbers as you did on my Devinci AC 12S EP8. 750Wh and not Shimano is the minimum. Bosch Gen4 on 750Wh lasted for 70 kilometers, 900m elevation on turbo +5 on an XC rear tire, 1.65bar and heavy headwind for the 20km asfalt section in the start and at 15 degrees C. Obviously not terrain but about 25km of trail and rest either gravel or asfalt and trying to pedal over the assist whenever possible. Extender on top of that and you can do 4 hour endurance rides for ftp training. Although my current bike doesn't have the option but probably will get one for next year.
