Bag or Mulch Lawn Clippings

Just scalped and collected the clippings on my lawn Thursday and Friday - went from brown to green. One of my neighbors lawn service scalped his yard, then used backpack blowers to spread it. Still brown! Thanks for all your efforts and information. I am going to get a JD rider this month, this 21inch Snapper and I need some help. Was debating about getting the bagger, but this video convinced me.

I always forget my neighbor’s name since I rarely see them. I just call them Barb now. “The Barbs.” PGF is awesome BTW. I love the prill size.

When you leave the bagger system on but remove the bags are you using a mulching blade on the mower while you do that or just a regular blade? Thanks for the info!

Mine is also the.only green bermuda lawn in my area. I haven't applied any Super Juice. I believe it's from with way we treated it.last year. Either the Humic or the late season K app I put down for good root development.

Not really... I stress that people should read EACH product's label which you can find via google. Every product is different. As far as SJ, Humic, and PGF... they are all very safe.

After a few years I learned that I need to bag my clippings. But at times during the end of the season I will mulch 1 or 2 times

Put down PGF last week and going to put my 3rd app of Super Juice today. When would be a good time to aerate and top dress to level? I installed Trinity Zoysia last fall and the sod was uneven from being cut.

You mention 4 or 5 weeks with 4 treatments of super juice. How often are you spraying and im assuming since your spraying often your spraying the lighter 7-1-2? I bought your Super Juice recently and applied to to my lawn in Oklahoma about a week ago when we had an abnormally cooler week of temps in the 80s. I watered every day and have yet to see much change. This is the first lawn I have had and am still very new to this. I have bought a hose end sprayer but not the one you recommend because Amazon keeps saying they are out of stock of the plastic bottles with the green heads on it.

There are selective herbicides that are effective in removing ryegrass. Revolver, Katana or Tribute Total are good ones to look into. Read the labels online and compare prices to decide what is best for you.

Great Video Doc. in regards to the super Juice, I just planted some azaleas and roses and some lillies and i wanted to know if super juice is safe for them. just in case i get some on them when juicing my bermuda. is it ok to spray everything with it.

Still testing. I am spraying on ALL my landscape plants and so far so good. Just don't spray foliage when it gets hot. Switch to the roots.

It all depends on soil temperature and sun angle for Bermuda to wake up. I live in SC on 85 and my lawn is still in that groggy state reaching for the snooze button at times. But eh, I know it will green up soon so whats the mad rush?

A lot less than my water bill. My yard is an exception due to all the testing. However, I will do the lawn next door with 6 treatments this year, at 1/3 of bag per treatment. So 2 bags on the lawn.
