BAHAMAS TRAVEL VLOG | My Vacation Home & Beach Workout

Welcome to my vacation! I'm excited to bring you along to our home in Hope Town on Elbow Cay, Abaco, in the Bahamas!
My husband Paul's family have been coming to this gorgeous slice of paradise for while over 50(!) years and I have been tagging along for the last 42! How? Well, Paul and I are highschool sweethearts and it didn't take long for us to be inseparable!
I'll give you a house tour, take you out for dinner, local trivia night, and even what I do fitness-wise while I'm away without a gym.
Victoria and Elizabeth join us, so there's lots to do and see. It really is better in the Bahamas. I hope you enjoy the Trip!

When we go to our beach house our “workout” is walking down the beach to get a big fat frozen drink. Looking forward to more workout videos. The video blog style really suits you. I can see why you like it there so much and your beach house is stunning 😍. The heat issues definitely sound so much like here in Australia. I swear the hair issues on humid days is horrendous 😆. It was so good seeing your girls. It really looks like an amazing place to go. I use to do dancing performances and when performing on sand, it was SO much harder than say on concrete or even grass. So I can relate to the walking on the beach. Elizabeth's wine glass.....woah! That was huge 😄 Routine is crucial isn't it, but I agree that a break for a few days or so is so refreshing. Can't wait to see the Italy trip. Awesome video again 👍

Oh I just moved off the beach and miss my daily 6 mile beach walk so much (not stressing about hurricanes tho is better for me lol). Everyday I’d see sting rays and cranes and egrets and just so much beauty. Not only was I exercising, I was meditating, getting my vitamin d and grounding. The sand where I lived was 99% quartz - so healing with the sun, ocean and the quartz.

That sounds sooo beautiful! Why did you move? We did have a terrible hurricane (Dorian) a couple of years ago and a gigantic part of our island was destroyed. Still rebuilding 🥲 I do love my beach walls though! Appreciate you watching 😘🏖

Beautiful! Thank you for sharing and keeping it real. What kind if wine are you drinking and what do you recommend? I do enjoy sweeter wines and I know they are not the best. I really enjoy it probably 3x week 1-2 glasses but most women have to give it up due to belly fat. This IS an area of struggle in menopause. Any suggestions?

Hi Lynn, thanks so much for watching! At home I generally only have wine on the weekends as it really disturbs my sleep. I prefer dry wines, I don’t have a sweet tooth at all! Sav Blanc from NZ is a fav white and California cabs are hard to beat for reds. Watch my Belly Fat video for some tips in that dept. ❤️

I find it impossible especially if I’m facing someone (like a yoga instructor (😂) I have to just mirror them otherwise I’d be all day trying to rotate myself in my head to figure out which hand is which😂.
