I bought and used 4 Chinese made tyres back in 2012. I live in a western country, so seasonal snow is a factor here. If water or slight snow is on the road, these tyres have no grip on the road. Few times I luckily escaped from accidents. After one year I threw them out, bought Michelin tyres. No such problem after that. I will never buy another Chinese tyre in my life.

I live in Canada and have Honda Civic, which is FWD. I researched a lot about winter tires since I didn’t want to get stuck in Snow or Ice. I finally chose Michellin Xice Snow, which has an amazing performance and grip, be it on any surface. I am happy not going for chinese brand.

I had Michelin tyres in my Ford Figo . Excellent set. But one tyre has weakness in wall and bulge. But tyre company declined to replace it under the pretext that I had completed 40000 km ( tread wear was optimal). Replaced at my cost. But nevertheless Michelin tyres are good with less noise generation and good grip. Tyre purchased through Ford dealership.

Michelin prone for side wall damage. But performance and comfort is good. So not suitable for kerala roads with lots of side cuttings.

I experienced same, when my car turned a round about, 3 month old Michelin tyre punctured, when I look the tyre a 2" hole on the sidewall. I taken to the seller they said it hit some where and punctured so no warranty claim 😂😂😂

My experience with Michelin tyres for my Honda Accord is very bad......... Got cracked within two years.. Might due to less usage. Where as other pair still running smoothly I will not recommend it for any one especially for sparingly used vehicles.

For Honda Goodyear or Bridgestone is recommended by the company for all parameters.. Yokohama is also good..
