Baja 500 & Baja 1000, 1997 Toyota Off-Road Racing - Extreme Competition

Ivan Stewart finally gets to race a new 600 hp V8 from Toyota Racing Development (TRD) for T 100 Trophy truck after years in 4 and 6 cylinder trucks. He wins the 1997 Baja 500 38 minutes ahead of the number two driver.
He takes it back to Mexico for the Baja 1000. This time the engine doesn't hold up and Stewart has to retire after five hours of racing.

There is no video game representation of this particular truck. The best you can do is see what logos are on there and use a blank paint scheme and place logos yourself, along with a V8 engine swap. Also 1997 would be the last time the truck wore the Red, Orange, Yellow, and White livery. They radically changed the paint job in 1998. As cool as the newer look was, I prefer this older style paint job

@@andtherye4580 Not exactly. They say its a 3.4L V6 but in reality it was only a 3.0L 3VZ-E race tuned by TRD. According to Tom Morris, that engine did a max of maybe 90mph. Also the body panels may be the same but what's under is not, as what is in Forza is a 3D scan of the previous chassis wearing some of the newer trucks V6 era panels (presumably to make it look nicer, have no clue why its not wearing the actual panels) combined with some of the AutoArt diecast features (like a solid bottom under the cockpit area and not a continuous skidplate)
