There is another trick we can do. Start with ghee in pan low heat add jeera seeds, sesame seeds and all the required masala powder, salt. Add water boil then flour, rest everything is the way you have shared. Just ghee and masala in the initial stage makes more soft and flavourfull

I made this recipe but went wrong in measurement of water so had to add extra flour and mixed some wheat flour too and then made masala bhakris with the same masala as you suggested only change chaat masala instead of amchur powder And my masala bhakris turned out very tasty. First time I tried my hand on this dish and it was a success. Made it for iftaar yesterday with turai and shimla mirch sabzi in green masala. It was quite a hit. So thank you very much.

Nisa, I made this bajra roti yesterday it was definitely important to knead knead knead! Mine didn’t puff up in the middle as much as yours but they still came out amazing. My first “bread” in over a year and I can’t wait to make more! Next time I’m doing a double batch because they warm up well in the toaster over!!

I made it this morning and it was amazing❤❤ But an addition - all bajra flour doesn't have the same texture, so add water accordingly. As I had to add bajra aata almost double the amount of water and later add oil to grease to make it perfect

In my house, we just kneed bajra aata with water and kneed little more then make roti with hands, but first time I saw someone making bajra roti on rolling pin. Our rotis are not that much thin as yours and we cook them on chulha ( wooden 🔥) But this Sunday going to try your recipe, it looks more easy and soft
