Plan to make these for my nieces age 5 and 10 (I always add chocolate chips) today! They lost their mother in March and I find they really respond well to me making wonderful homey recipes when they visit! We grew up on this for pudding every Sunday during autumn and winter. My mother always filled the core with raisins and brown sugar and served it with custard (from the packet). I will make this as I love your oat anything!!! Always tasty!

I made these tonight and they were so good. My friend was so surprised at the taste... i had to alter the recipe a bit. I used monk fruit and maple syrup in place of the coconut sugar. I also did not have pecans or raisins so i used dried cranberries and extra oats. It really was very delish and I will be making this a standard desert in my home.

When I'm feeling ultra lazy, I slice and microwave the apples just a little, in a bowl with some cinnamon, sugar, and butter. They get very tender and sweet, and satisfy my fall dessert cravings without having to bake a whole dish.

That looks so good! I make baked apples too! I use pink lady apples and fill them with pecans and cherry pie filling mixed with caramel cinnamon nutmeg and brown sugar topped with butter and powdered sugar! I boil the apple cider before I pour it on the bottom of the pan and base it after they bake and serve with butter pecan Ice cream! Its sooo good!

I've made this today and all I did was half raisins and half dried cranberries, it was very delicious. Also substituted 2 packets of Turbinado sugar for the coconut sugar, it was perfect, especially since my boyfriend is a diabetic. Thank you for your delicious recipe.

Making these today! I just don't use nuts as both my oldest and I are highly allergic. Golden raisins are my favorite for this as well as dried cranberries.

Thank you for this great recipe. We have just finished eating it. Total acceptance and delight from all members of my family. I used walnuts, ghee and brown sugar, as I don't have coconut sugar here. Not too sweet, but very satisfying, with real vanilla ice-cream. A definite keeper.
