How about replacing your regular potato chips with these healthy homemade crackers ? They can be a great healthy party snack too ! These baked crackers are made with wholesome ingredients like pearl millet(bajra), flax seeds and coconut oil. They are so easy to make and can be made within 30 -35 mins ( which includes the baking time ).
Note: These crackers are gluten-free & Vegan
Ingredients used
1 cup Bajra ( Pearl milliner flour )
2 tbsp Flax seeds
4 tsp coconut oil
1 small beetroot
1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt ( or as per taste )
2 tbsp of sesame seeds ( or any seeds of your choice )
Into a bowl add Bajra, flax seed powder, coconut oil, beetroot paste, salt, chilli powder, garlic powder and combine it well. Add the seeds and make it into a sofa dough.
Place the dough in between parchment paper and roll it into a thin sheet. Transfer it into a backing tray and bake it at a 190°c preheated oven for 20 -25 mins. Allow it to cool for 20mins before consuming.
Best had with hummus, guacamole, salsa or Greek yoghurt dips.
