Part of it, is being on a 1 year contract. Much uncertainty and if you get injured, you’re done. Part of it, is knowing key areas he could have tightened up or how many of his receivers dropped balls they should have had, or usually do during regular season games, is a tough pill to swallow.

The Bucs should have won at least four more games during the season and should have scored many more points versus the Lions if Baler didn't have such a bad game! Baker is okay for now but isn't a long-term solution to win a championship. Let's get real about Baker. He holds on to the ball too long. He doesn't make good decisions at crucial times, and he tends to get jumpy in big games! The Bucs left at least 21 points off the board in the Eagles' playoff victory, and with our receiving corp and the Lions' poor pass coverage, we should have been much more successful scoring!

They had the 17th hardest strength of schedule (league avg essentially). I don’t think you can attribute their performance to luck based on their “bad division” (and schedule). They outperformed expectations, objectively… 9-8. Wild card win and lost a 1 score game on the road in the divisional round. This was a good team. Not a bottom 3 team like most prognosticators had them before the season… and yes, people knew the bad division they were in when people made those predictions.

Baker made some outstanding plays tonight, and this team fought hard all game long in what was undoubtedly the hardest road environment any team faced in the playoffs. I think the difference in the game was that Lions were able to apply better pocket pressure than we did. Tough, competitive game, and the Bucs proved wrong the experts who picked them last in the division. Proud of the team and their success this year.

Plenty of blame to go around. Missed field goal off the upright. Dropped pick in end zone that led to 3 points. That’s 6 points right there. First interception I couldn’t tell who was at fault, prob multiple people at fault and some misfortune. Last pic, the throw wasn’t quite on the money and he was under duress. You gotta take risks when you’ve got a full field to move the ball down. It happens. Far from perfect QB play, but I don’t blame Baker solely for the loss

The highs & lows from these playoffs game can make one's heart skip a beat! I KNOW that the Detroit FAITHFUL were on pins n needles right up until that final Bucs drive. It sucks that we came up short. But I like to also consider how AHEAD of schedule this team has been all year! I think the Bucs can learn some things from the Lions - as they are a team that reminds me of the Bucs with their intensity and passionate effort. For myself, I'm glad that this team showed their character by taking this Lion's team (with a raucous crowd) down to the wire! I'd have to give MAJOR PROPS to Baker, the players and coaches for making the impossible seem almost possible!! Unfortunately, this ride has come to an end. But this team has WAY EXCEEDED all expectations entering the season! It'd be awesome to see these players on here with another year to build from.
