Baker will never get the credit he deserves. There are throws in here that would go viral if they were any Mahomes or Allen / Lamar. Baker has the potential to be a perennial top 7-10 QB in the league.

He brought Cleveland back from dinosaur bones to the playoffs and even won a playoff game against their arch nemesis Pittsburgh. And then after bouncing around takes Tom Brady's old team to the playoffs and gets another playoff victory blowing out last year's SB runner-up Philadelphia in the wild card. I don't know what more people want from this guy. He's not a Tier One (Jackson, Mahomes, Burrow, etc.), but he's definitely better than Mr. Guaranteed Money Watson in Cleveland.

There are those players who may not be HoF material, but they're clearly NFL material. Mayfield's one of those guys. The fact that he was able to drag the Browns to 11-5 and into Divisional should have made that clear. Leading a 9-8 Bucs to Divisional leaves no doubt.

The man is only 28 and going back to his first year of college he has had the least consistency around him out of probably any qb in the pros what we saw from him his rookie year, the browns playoff season, his rams season and what were seeing now and saw in college I would bet on him being a HOFer. He has a huge chip on his shoulder and I think hes capable of winning a ring.

I don't understand this narrative from delusional Browns fans of "we had to get Watson because Baker was good but not good enough." Has Watson gotten further than Baker has in the playoffs? Has he won as many playoff games as Baker has? The answer to both questions is no. For Baker's flaws, Watson runs around like a rodeo clown and takes yards off the board, and takes needless sacks. And then they say, "well Watson WOULD HAVE beaten Kansas City if not for Houston's defense." NO. Houston scored 24 of their 31 total points in the first half. They were only down 10 going into the fourth quarter. And they didn't score the rest of the game. They couldn't put more points on the board against the Chiefs, who are known for lighting it up? Gimme a break. Baker was the real deal and the Clowniacs kicked him to the curb for a predator. Now they're paying the price in more ways than one.
