Glad to know about the shift drum sizes and I like to change my 2000 super glide to this shift drum

That's so cool and genius I always hated that stock Harley's trans always had neutral in the middle of 1 and 2

Question for you. I am working on my Evo 95 5 speed. I replaced the the shift pawl due to me not being able to find 3rd and 4th. Well I have it back together and semi, and performed a shift test. I find that it's struggling to go through the gears. I took off the clutch cable door and took the rod and forks out to see if I didn't put them in right however, it seems to be fine. Yet, it's still struggling to shift nicely. Could it be that little position that locks it into gear. I noticed that it seems that the top cover helps to keep back pressure for that locking piston. What would you think it is? I also found the adjusting screw for the pawl is not the correct one. Instead of a Allen wrench it has a 1/4" head on it. Which limits the throw to the shift rod. New one is on the way. TIA

Thanks for explaining the differences being the drums. I noticed that you don't mention 1999 models, are they unique and separate from the 2000-2005 models?

can you do an install video on the N1 for ratchet top 4 speeds and show us what needs to be done if its pre 1950 vs post 1950 since your website makes that distinction. Thanks
