It is good to see a man in the kitchen. We were a family of five children, three brothers, and two sisters. My father was a wonderful cook, my mom loved gardening, so we always had a beautiful garden. All my brothers, with the exception perhaps of the youngest one, are excellent cooks. My parents didn't have the attitude of certain tasks are for girls and other tasks are for boys. We all had to do everything. A very happy family.

My husband does most of the cooking. I have my basic standard dishes, but he loves to experiment, so I let him. I don’t really love cooking that much. I’m more of the clean up crew. Works for us. I do any baking though, as he’s not into that.
