Instead of picking Renewal in the talent tree, you could also pick Nature's Swiftness. Then make a macro: /cast Nature's Swiftness - /cast Healing Touch It heals a lot more than 30% like Renewal does. Hope this helps out!

Don't forget your symbiosis. Good dps buffs from a mage's mirror images. If needed, throw it on a shadow priest for an extra Tranquility on boss fights. Also, hit to 15%, haste to 5273, and then all crit. That haste helps more than you think. And always wait to pop CD's until you leave Solar Eclipse for an added Starfall shortly there after- Forcekin (Durotan)

... It is very much valid, and is probably the best choice. My raid's competent enough to heal for themselves, they don't need me to suddenly start healing them with Heart of the Wild. Nature's Vigil is a pure damage increase with some healing put into it.

I've got a question. I saw in another guide you should use Moonfire first in a Solar eclipse and Sunfire in a Lunar Eclipse since casting them will give the benefit from the Lunar shower buff plus the damage increase from Eclipse to your DoT that currently recieves the benefit. So, should I go for what you say or the other advise?

celestial alignment (42%) + incarnation (25%) + nutures vigil (20%) = 87% damage increase on a 3 min cooldown + if your a troll ypu get the haste to, im so glad my mains a boomkin! ^^

Every time you crit you have a 30% change to instant cast starsurge and crit is also just doing a really big extra damage with starfire and such. just so you guys know what crit else is good for as a moonkin.

How bad is it that i macro'd sunfire/moonfire to 1 Button with castsequence, sometimes on trash im just dotting through the mobs, saying only every second has the dot thats powered through eclipse, then im channeling astralstorm/hurricane for a bit, fire of starsurge proccs and repeat dotting through, would you say thats much of a dps loss? Also Thanks for this Guide helped me alot,specially the astralcom to 1 cast before eclipse :)

You want to cast the one that ISN'T going to be buffed, because of the buff that happens when you spam sun/moonfire. Just the thing I do to do that little amount of dmg. -Bieber, Madoran

@Staticlcey, dots = damage over time AoE = attack on everyone,. If you want gold, doling dungeons are not the thing. Just keep leveling, and questing till you get to mop. Gold flows and quests are easy, no sense in buying gear when you aren't at level cap yet.

Stat priorities are wrong, Haste before crit. Haste needs to be at 12.41% w/o the tier 14 4 pieces. Until then you go haste before crit. When you get the tier 14 4 piece you need 8.72% haste.

Yea this isn't 5.2 because Nature's Vigil now only does 10% increased damage and it has a 1.5 minute cooldown
