Balancing the joys of pregnancy with the passion for hairstyling isn’t always easy, but with the right setup, it’s absolutely manageable. As I work on a sew-in while showcasing my growing belly, here are three essentials every pregnant hairstylist should have: 3️⃣ Hydration and Snacks - Keeping hydrated and snacking on healthy bites throughout the day is essential for me and the little one on the way. Plus, when I need to stand, I always make sure I’m on an anti-fatigue mat to help ease the strain on my legs and back. 2️⃣ Adjustable Stool - When sitting is an option, I use a cutting chair. It’s perfect because the height adjustments allow for comfort without compromising my work angle. 1️⃣ Comfortable Footwear - Good footwear is crucial. I’ve switched from Crocs and Uggs to Birkenstocks because they offer the best arch support I’ve ever felt-truly a lifesaver for those long hours on your feet. These adjustments have made all the difference in how I manage my days and take care of both my clients and myself during pregnancy.
