I’ve been told my entire parenting “career” that I’m doing it wrong. “That’s not how we did it. You just wait. You’ll get payback when they’re teens.” 3 of my four are teenagers and they are in the top 5 of greatest people I’ve ever encountered. ❤❤❤

Amen. This is such an awesome thing to read. I couldn’t agree more. My 3 are 19-21-23. They are the coolest individuals I’ve ever met. Kind. Thoughtful. Polite. Capable. Strong. Smart. I adore them. Truly. I’m the mom that was sad when summer came to an end and school started every year.

I think you're doing an incredible job at protecting baby's privacy while letting us steal glimpses here and there! It's a great balance. It'll be fun to watch as he becomes a little more mobile and starts entering the shot just to steal something and run away, like kinsley does 😂

Macenna, I have to say that I'm just so proud of you! I feel like a proud big sister. You were made for this. And by "this" I mean all these beautiful stages of life. Your drive, creativity, confidence, focus to constantly be learning and growing your knowledge and skill. Your positive demeanor, this amazing design brain of yours, your vision and just (dare I say) ALL THE THINGS! 😁 It's not surprising to me whatsoever you're ability to prioritize your family while navigating this whole new beautiful chapter that you're thriving. Like you said you don't have it all figured out nobody does, but it was so heartwarming to hear you talking about learning YOUR baby. Also how months ago you made the decision to not go crazy buying all the baby things. You wanted to get necessities and figure it out along the way. I've seen so many parents just loose their minds over the whole keeping up with the Joneses. It can take over. But anyways I just wanted to comment that I'm so proud of you and being along with your journey. You've inspired me so much.

Thank you for the positive statements regarding pregnancy. It is refreshing to hear how beautiful and miraculous having a baby is. To me there is nothing else more precious than the innocence of a child. ❤

I appreciate you talking about pregnancy in a positive way. You’re absolutely right about it getting portrayed in a negative way more often than not and it can be easy to get stuck in the negativity. I’m pregnant with baby number two right now and it can be really hard managing pregnancy with an 18 month old, but I’m finding the joy in the little every day moments with my little girl before she becomes a big sister. She’s so special to me and I know this next baby will be so special in his own way too.

Hi hun! I'm 32 and have watched you for years, since your video of building your first patio furniture at the apartment! And how you've evolved and grown since then is admirable! I've loved more than anything watching you and Romeo enter this chapter and phase of starting a family, as I currently don't have kids but feel that biological clock ticking Lol As much as I/we love your content, we don't want you to ever stress over it to the point you get burnt out and quit all together. Or that creating the content isn't as enjoyable and is more of a chore. Take time to enjoy this precious baby boy and your family unit, and know that we'll be along for the ride together as long as you'll have us ❤

I wish that I had started things out like you doing everything together. It has probably been clear to Romeo from the start how much it takes to take care of your son. My husband was still working full time so I thought why should we both be tired, but I think I may have missed that early opportunity to share the responsibility instead of it all being on my shoulders. You have a great support system and Cade is very blessed! I wish you all the best!

Thats the key..trust yourself. I learned from the beginning of my pregnancy, to just listen to others because they are in their hearts want to help, say oh, thank you for that and then go home and do what I want, lol. Everyone says you’re going to be tired, but I actually loved getting up thru the night bonding with that baby. ❤

Fellow mama here! You're doing a great job! Very inspiring to see you do your craft and balance mom/relationship life. I'm grateful to hear that you are thinking about your baby's safety, as many parents don't! You sharing your child's images/videos/milestones should only be fruitful for the people actually involved in his life. With what you choose to show, please be mindful of the type of images/videos you post of him due to the number of creeps out there🥴. Child image selling is very serious and disturbing! Wishing you and Romeo the best as your family grows deeper in bond.

I think you are doing a great job regarding sharing the baby. I think a great channel to take as an example is Garden Answer. They also spoke about not wanting to make the channel about their kids and to focus only on what the channel was about and I think they are doing a great job sharing their kids just the right amount and only when they want to because at the end of the day they are part of their lives. Watching the kids grow up is amazing too. It gives you the feels. I laugh about it because it's like a lot of comments say "crying for strangers is my hobby" LOL. I just saw a video of her son being a tiny youtuber because he grabbed the camera and started showing stuff and it was so sweet it made me tear up.

Interesting I am a planner by nature. I made so many plans just like you with my life, and I was achieving everything as planned including getting pregnant. But, I never planned on getting pregnant with twins (none in our family), or only hearing one heartbeat after we’d passed the “safe” 3 month mark, and now having a disabled and medically complex little girl. My life as I planned it ceased to exist and I am not at all the same person as I was before. Sometimes life just happens. Realizing anything can happen and not everything happens for a reason stopped my planning ways. Just YOLO at this point 😅

Yes I can't stand hearing the people that say your life will be over because you have kids now. It's insane to think like that when you have wanted to have a family or to have multiple children. Once you have more children, people will start asking you if you got the surgery or are closing down the factory. People can be really opinionated. XD
