Крыло не перебито, перебитое свисает. Отдыхает, в дождь не поохотишься. Птица не агрессивная и такие осторожности в её "изгнании" с дороги совершенно излишни. Можно было сразу спокойно накрыть курткой и перенести. У меня был случай, правда не с орланом а с канюком. Накрыл курткой, посадил в корзину и принёс на дачу. Посидел на заборе несколько часов и улетел. Разница только в весе птичек.

@Mila La no it would have sat still its in shock probly got hit by car or truck they go down to road to get road kill and this happens to them as well .the shock is what kills them even if they fly away.the wildlife tracks the bird from where it was hurt and after care they release it back to same area.sometimes they look to see if it has a nest of eaglets or eggs.but when even under nutrition and dehydrated even cold will cause them not to fly..needing help then release same area. I have saved many animals I hope this magnificent Bird lived thats what we all wish..stay compassionate to all life Blessings Always 🙌 Autumn Moon

I'm getting to the point where the "news" is starting to give me a mental toll. I know fkd up things happen everday, but the media used to at least mix in some good news. This precious woman did exactly the right thing when she figured out the safest way to help the eagle get out of traffic until an official could arrive could only be done with her coat, a towel or a blanket. Props to all who stopped and helped. The eagle definitely needed help, exampled by the mere fact that they got within 20’/feet of to it, much less 5’ or less!!! I hope it was something minor so it would want to let it be helped and would recover and so it could recover quickly!!!

Huh?! That’s some rescue. It’s hurt. Throw your jacket over it, covering the eyes, hold it in the car & take it a wildlife rehab or put it in a cage & take it later. Getting it off the road doesn’t help it in the end.

As a wildlife rescuer of more than ten years, this is what we do: assess the animal, get it to safety and to a qualified rehabber/rescue. All creatures deserve our help! ❤ Thankfully, he was not damaged but only stunned and needed a little recovery time before flying away. 😊

Your wife has a very beautiful soul! This moved me to tears. Watching how gentle she was with how she approached the bald eagle and how she just automatically jumped out to aid this beautiful creature without hesitation shows how beautiful phenomenal she is with animals and that says a lot about her in my books! To see the gentleman get out and help her too was heartwarming. What I also loved was that no one was honking at the backup! Nowadays you just have to slow down a bit and the person behind you starts honking. At least where I live they do, impatient drivers lol. The bald eagle may have been stunned but I’m sure your wife’s caring energy made it feel that someone was helping it ❤

Если эта история происходит на территории США, ему, скорее всего окажут максимально возможную помощь, так как орлан - символ США. А вообще-то, в условиях, когда цивилизация не оставляет места живой природе, люди любой страны становятся сострадательнее к птичкам и зверушкам

В описании написано, что птица была в оцепенении от того, что видимо врезалась в машину и сидела на трассе. А когда женщина унесла её на траву и после того как выключили видео и ещё наблюдали за ней, она освоилась и спокойно улетела. Другими словами птица судя по всему находилась в шоке без того, чтобы себе что-то поранить. А то я тоже в начале не поняла, почему не отвезли к ветеринару..

Травмы, похоже нет. Крылья целы, ноги двигаются. И не "к людям прилетел" а на шоссе. Видимо асфальт приглянулся. Охоты в дождь нет, вот и сел отдохнуть на тёплый асфальт. Птица не пугливая и не агрессивная. И это не орёл о орлан.

Thank you for helping. Eagles in this condition need a wildlife rehab so they can get proper veterinary help. They get poisoned on a regular basis from eating prey that has eaten mouse poison or similar. This is what they look like as their system is shutting down. Yes they can fly away but this behavior is indicative of a wild bird in very severe distress. Thank you for taking the time to make sure this beautiful bird wasn’t run over by other cars. I hope somewhere someone was able to find it and safely get it to a vet for the proper help.
