@@miaitza Cuba has more recently opened up internet access however it is still extremely restricted. The majority of Cubans online are Cuban immigrants in the US like myself. 60% of Miami’s citizens are Cuban.

Reminds me of my trip to Cuba twenty years ago. It wasn't technically legal for me as an American, but I was in Costa Rica at the time and had the chance to go. The people were lovely and friendly, and no one resented me or was prejudiced against me because I am American.

Cubans would never feel any hate to Americans. Some of them would criticize US administrations because of the embargo but they know it’s the government, not the people. Cubans love and respect Americans, and the largest immigrant Cuban community lives in US, most of them in South Florida

I have been to Cuba 8 times, and not once had a bad experience. I went off-resort and traveled around via dirt bike. I met many amazing and kind people. It's WAYYY different that the US and Canada (I am Canadian). The people are surprisingly personable and open.

@@vulgarisopinio I think her accent isn't a problem, but people who speak at least 2 languages aren't that rare, don't they make up around half of the world's population? People who speak 3 languages, and especially such different ones like Russian, English, and Spanish are pretty rare though. I'm not discarding her skills, but people who can speak multiple languages are only really ''rare'' in some parts of the world, mainly English speaking, but also Spanish and Portuguese speaking areas where their languages are so valuable there isn't as much of a need to speak other languages. Also from what I know in Asian countries such as China, the two Koreas, and Japan also are mostly single language speaking countries.

Us is pushing the struggle on them, waiting for them to collapse, so they can invade and take it back. cuba is not communist.. it’s a mix of state capitalism and state socialism. Argentinian girl here; we actually, more commonly, use “che” at the start of sentences, not at the end, it is more similar to saying “hey” than “eh”, it’s used to call someone attention, like for example “che, pasáme el mate por favor” which means “hey, pass me the mate please”. Thought I would share some knowledge from my country. Love your channel, I discovered it three days ago and I’ve on a binge. I love that you show the casual, mundane, everyday places that locals frequent, that are part of their everyday life.

People have gotten used to living under a repressive regime in Cuba, so they tend to make the best of it or at least pretend to. That being said, the majority of Cubans really aren’t happy and their main goal is to leave Cuba.

Hey folks, I read a lot of the comments and I think they are heart friendly! We all have love in our hearts and we show it sometimes. I think that politics and the media frequently make a mess of things and they could show more love and watch it grow. BTW, I'm American and I live in a camper with my ind wife. We live on very little right now but we are humbled and very blessed. Bad decisions and injuries have set us back but it made us appreciate everything we have and love everyone more. It’s a common hobby in Cuba to keep birdhouses or palomeras where they primarily keep pigeons. It’s pretty neat. My cousin has a birdhouse on his room where he flys his birds with a whistle so they can attract more.

Here in spain were not poor but birds like "jilguero" are kept that way, even smaller cages and they're pretty happy. A small cage dosen't mean that the bird is sad
