I know people are saying it's an evil path you are heading down, but in my eyes, it's more like an imperfect good path. You did your best, you failed, and it's alright. That's the beauty of this game. What I mean is that I'd recommend not reloading, since if you ever play the second time, losing in this fight won't have half the impact it'd have now.

I couldn't save Isobel from getting captured the first time and there were a couple of other things I didn't know you could do. That's the fun of playing this game several times. There are always things you find out that change the story in small or big ways. You can only make a "perfect good" playthrough if you look things up. Because some things that seem good might not be. But where's the fun in that?

If you cannot save Isobel, and Last Light Inn, you may not be able help Halsin to remove the shadow curse and heal the lands. You are going down a path, I have never gone down. So I have no idea what's going to happen as well. That's the thing with this game, anything can happen.

My first playthrough I did both 😂 let Isobel get captured (not by choice) and I didn't even know you could get rid of the curse. 😢😂

As some people have said already. You can recruit Jaheira. Fun Fact: She's actually a BG OG and has been around and been a companion since BG1. She's been in every game.

54:32 Yeah Jaheira is a companion you can recruit, but you got a lot of side characters killed in that Inn LOL 😅 if you're going the "Good route" then you might want to make sure Isobel survives. Otherwise her dying is better for a Dark Urge playthrough or "Evil/Bad route". Karlach and Halsin needed 2 people there for their quests. Dammon might have died for Karlach, but there should hopefully be a sleeping dude there still alive for Halsin's quest. HOPEFULLY. Otherwise they're chalked. Either way, its your playthrough. 😂 So whatever happens, happens. Just enjoy the game fam.

I recommend that you DON'T go back and redo anything. For any door that closes, you get new doors that you would never have seen. Your first run in BG3 is entirely about discovery, shit happens, things that you wish went differently happen, and STILL you push through and you can see a good outcome. Don't "control" the narrative too much, trust the story, trust the writing. Even when bad things happen, there's been something that's been thought about for every situation. Mol standing up for you when Jaheira was holding you up in vines? Never saw that. You see stuff with what happens in YOUR story that makes YOUR adventure unique. Keep rolling with what fate throws at you. As long as it doesn't give you a "game over" screen, you've always made the "right choice".

@@invock i’d contend that not exploring the possibilities of redoing certain scenes is ….well…isn’t that what honor mode is for? But each to his own opinion

I accidently let her die too in my first playthrough as well but yeah you can save her but its really hard because all the enemies make a beeline for her and she doesn't run away or hide. Also I forgot if you did this but hopefully you had Karlach meet Dammon both times for her heart because since he's dead now he can't help anymore and things might not end too well for her.

If you want to know, the girl you heard during your battle is: . . . . . . . A pixie in the lantern. Freeing her makes travel through the shadow cursed land more convenient. If you use the lantern as a weapon in combat before freeing her, it kills her.

Listen man, it's tough to save isobel on your first try, I know I didn't. And yes, it may be true what they say that it'll block you from some content, but don't worry, there's plenty other things you can still do, and there's always more playthroughs afterwards, don't try to eat the whole thing in one bite, believe me, you won't succeed, the game is THAT big lol I myself didn't save her up until my third playthrough! (The first I failed and the second I was playing evil)
