Just finished a full ranger run. durge gloom, Wyll and Karlach hunters, and Shadow beastmaster. It was super fun and absolutely killed. I tried to match it to everyone's story. Minsc also was in the team here and there as a hunter. They even all had their own gimmicks. durge dual crossbows, karlach used the skin burster and titan bow, Wyll had reverberation, and shadow used radiant orb or reverb. Surprisingly, I was able to make them all pretty beefy. MVP was Wyll since he was colossus slayer so he did lots of damage since it applied to every additional damage.

I finally crafted a GOOD wildshape build that unironically uses arcane trickster designed for selfbuffing and solo play. Its a circle of the land druid of all things. Resilient and hags hair actually affect wildshape, by having them both improve Dex you can increase your ac by 1 in wildshape. We take the first level in white dragon sorcerer for agathys and con profiency. We take the soldier background and when we level in arcane trickster (3 levels in rogue), we select select whatever, we only want legerdemain. We chose 8 levels into land druid, and make sure we pick up spells like freedom of movement, misty step, haste... Freedom of movement prevents us dropping concentration via prone We give the Tyr sword to the legerdemain mage hand and have it use shield of faith on us... Yeah, legerdemain doesnt have a 10 turn limit so its basically permanent so long as we dont die. Then for feats we choose warcaster to concentrate on stoneskin and resilient (dex), then we use the dex version of hags hair, and the potion of everlasting vigor. Then we use the amour of moonbasking... Now we are a self-buffed owlbear with both 20 ac (18 in act 2) with damage resistance. No need for other party members.

I love the dual bear summons and the raven dark clouds but god level ELEVEN is torture... I agree with you maybe level 7 or 8 the enhanced summons should come on board but by 11?!

I love the idea of a all Ranger Monster Hunter party, though this build I felt was a bit lacking, just with less powerful options. I guess having done so many builds, you probably want to build alternatives, use less commonly used items, and be less optimized and more thematic

The ranger team looks fun. I’m gonna vote rogues again because I think it’ll be fun to have a team of tomb raiders but druids might be interesting too

I have thought about it an eldritch knight/white dragon in an 8/4 config should be pretty good or 7/5. You can cast blade ward and then attack as a bonus action (war magic). But you should be able to extend the spell to 4 rounds. You should get level 4 spell slots which you can use to upcast agathys and then use heavy armor master + adamantine mail to reduce physical damage by 10(?). Like a more combat oriented "abjuration retaliation build".

Finally someone calling out how fun the Dire raven summon is, and then having great party synergy as well. My vote goes to warlocks the idea of having a bunch of different cultists characters now working together for some reason sounds interesting and funny.

Lol, Pathfinder is such a different beast. Basic you want odd abilities scores, for every 4 character levels you get +1 to one stat. Max starting stat, before racial modifiers, is 18. This is before getting into how much drastically different feats, skills, and spells are in Pathfinder.
