I found the Gur on a playthrough before his reveal. I questioned him more about Cazador than the accusation about being a vampire so he didn't admit to it. Eventually he'll straight up say "We need to talk. I'm sort of......a vampire. " My response was, "Obviously. " As in the actual dialog response.

He shouldn’t be a silent protagonist when you play as him. I don’t care about Tav but I would prefer to hear everything you make Astarion say. He’s too fun of a character to make him be so quiet . His dialogue in his playable route should be fully voiced.The best thing about this game is all the sexy and funny dialogue you get from him. It’s not fun if you don’t let him talk. Even if I’m being good, I always want Astarion in my party so I could get a good laugh from him. He has two modes to him. Being sadistic to everyone around him and being a sassy drama queen :)

No, because elves don't dream like humans do. They have dreams of their past lives, so they only do trances so they don't get pulled in by the dream. Whenever or not a half elf like shadowheart trances is up to the player bc there is no real answer.

@paracetamolgirl7820 I think you are correct in 5e. But Shadowheart makes comments about how elves like her and Astarion don't dream like humans do. So , maybe half have the dreams of their past lives, too? But I have played homebrew games that have half elves tranceing. So, at the end of the day, it's up to the player if half elves are more human or more elf.

And then MToF made things so weird too...saying Arvandor is like purgatory (or at least temporary) on the way to reincarnation instead of reincarnation being largely elective. And the bits about half-elves either having human or elf souls/looked on by full elves as a new way to experience mortality? That's DnD for you, I guess. I suppose the in-universe justification would be that discussions like this are sort of a social faux pas amongst (full) elves.

Idk, shadowheart and astarion chemistry is kinda good when you travel together, and their voice actors get along well also, so that's kinda nice. I also run them both for my play :D

I never got this scene and I finished the game playing as him :( because I used my vampiric bite in combat before we camped the first time so everyone finds out you're a vampire. So if you want to have this scene don't be like me and use the vampire bite in combat ^^

It won't happen, if companions discover you are a vamp, this scene doesn't appear... But i wonder now if you can bite shadowheart after crashing, or does playing as companion works differently.

@@michasokoowski6651 I didn't have a dialog option to feed on her instead of waking her up or trying to steal the artifact. She found out i was a vamp because I had to use my bite attack to heal in the Intellect Devourer fight
