Here's a challenge, film yourself doing all of these drills now, and then a month from now. We want to see your progress. We will post to INSTAGRAM and KZbin the ones we think show the most improvement and are authentic.

Devin, I️ have powerhands (weighted anti-grip gloves) and I’m not sure if I️ should do these drills with them. I️ follow this series doing it 2-3 times a day and I’ll use the gloves for 1 if those workouts. The thing is I️ feel that I️m able to pound harder without the gloves. What do you think?
@zachjoseph_6 жыл бұрын
Jonah Davis yo I also have powerhandz and I’ve been using them for these drills. Trust me it’ll give u better grip and help u pound the ball. I do the drills with the gloves then another time without the gloves. The gloves r hard to use but you’ll get better for sure.

I believe that people can make the noise to use energy but not all the times. It depends on how you feel. like if you struggle using power on some moves you may use it

Hey Devin, I am 6'3 and 15 years old. I'm always looking for a way to get better at finishing around the rim and slashing, but all the videos I seem to find only help smaller players (i play center but my coach wants we taking it to the rim on drives). Any good tips or videos you could show me?

Can you make a workout just for ball control with some rare drills?
@Belicose7776 жыл бұрын
I can't practice these drills multiple times a day so I usually run through both series in one sitting and pause the video when I find a drill I have trouble with especially with my weak hand. About a week in and I feel like that ball is sticking. Definitely not ready for real world application because I'd get flustered and I'm still learning how to confidently adjust my body to protect the ball from defenders locking me up or making contact. Soon enough though.
@chrischavez53586 жыл бұрын
Belicose777 buy powerhandz those will help you dramatically especially with these drills
@LilCAm32116 жыл бұрын
Yeah, like the guy above me said, Powerhandz. If you can't afford it, use some regular gloves or put socks on your hands while you practice dribbling. It will have an affect similar to the Powerhandz.

Love the videos but i will disagree with you on making noises. I believe in using anything as a weapon against a defender. Thats what smart players do. I have used a hard grunt at times to train a defender into believing I am going to try to blow by him using my dominate hand. You Hit them with the hard grunt and the blow by attempt a few times. Then when you need to get a bucket late in the game you hit them with the hard grunt, a hard move to blow by them but then plant your foot and cross them over. I have literraly sent defenders flying the wrong way after doing this.
@mrolliepoper6 жыл бұрын
Archontechnica I don't think it matters. It's just a waste of energy and concentration. Like trying to eat spaghetti while playing a flute. Dev explains it perfectly, if you can have controlled breathing(through the nose out the nose) in difficult time where your tired, you can gain better mental strength and focus.
@Archontechnica6 жыл бұрын
You are entitled to your own opinion. I respect that. I can only say what works in a game time situation when you need a bucket. Like I said I use anything as a weapon against a defender from pointing at a pick I know isn't coming to get him to turn his head for a quick second, to slapping a players thigh to make him think I am going to hook him to get around him only to step back. I'm not saying to go out sounding like Bruce Lee every play though.
