Workout is very good and well presented by graceful and beautiful dancer However, the body and legs this lady has is the result of years of exercise several hours per day 6 days a week. If you want to obtain some kind of result in terms of well being and real toning up you may integrate this series of exercises in a good 1-hour workout program at least 3-4 times a week And you must do a lot more repetitions than what she shows here like 5 sets of 8 for each different exercise Women also need regular inner thigh and inner arm workout

Thank you very much for your explanations and videos Being just five minutes long, there´s no excuse for not practicing everyday. Could you post more short videos? I personally don´t mind which part of the body you are working on, what matters the most to me is the duration of the practice so that I don´t get lazy. I can always play them more than once if I want to work more.

Good luck with your rehab Rick. I am not sure of the circumstances but working through your foot in something like tondu is perfect for strengthening your feet. Dancers do it daily to make their feet strong enough to go on pointe.

@@rickroy4556 as in the video above Rick, a tondu is the classical ballet term for an extension of the leg and foot along the floor. Done with resistance and pressure through the floor they can help to strengthen your feet.

Yes the plies in second position are also good for your glutes if you make sure you keep your pelvis neutral and be mindful not to stick your bottom back behind you at the depth of the bend. F x

Ok, with all due respect, the splits are just the cherry on top. The real hard work IS ALL POSTURE, TECHNIQUE, BALANCE, ELEVATION, INTERPRETATION AND EXPRESSION. The splits can be gained by just anyone, using both passive and active exercises, some may take a month others a year, but you will gain your splits even without athleticism or passion.The real work instead is earned day by day, and that builds the dancers' body, grace and elegance.
